I'm here!

Today, I tried fixing my bedroom lock because the push button hadn't retracted. When I closed the door, I couldn't open it again because the spring isn't attached to the latch, so that didn't retract either. I'm locked in my own room. FML

Fall

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.

If the hinges are on your side of the door just take them off. If you can get the door knob/handle off you might be able to open the door. Other wise just call a friend or the fire dept to open the door

So, you effectively imprisoned yourself for being a bad handyman. Seems like a light punishment for Singapore. The good news is no one can get it to cane you.

Take the time to enjoy some video games, and a nap

In my experience, any push button (or turn button) lock door can be easily opened/unlocked by sliding a credit card in the crack and forcing the popped out thingy (technical I know) back in. Used to do it all the time when my brother was taking six years in the bathroom and I needed my stuff.
