Good deed of the day
Today, my distant relatives found out that I had turned down an inheritance from my long estranged father. I didn't feel it was right so I asked the lawyer to make it a donation to WFP. Relatives I'd never met and some I didn't even know about are now all over my socials about how I "insulted the memory" of their uncle. FML

They're short-sighted, which may be a polite way to say awful people, to think donating to World Food Programme is insulting anyone! Of course you know they real reason they're angry is that they didn't get a chunk of money themselves. I say, good for you, and hope you donated in Uncle's name, but regardless, Uncle would be please. (heart)

Well, insulting the memory of their uncle is just a nice bonus.

Imagine being so selfish you think you should have a say in how someone handles the death of their own father.
