Today, my husband told me doesn't really love me. He only married me because we had a daughter, and his grandmother told him he had to so she wouldn't be "an abomination to God." FML

Today, my husband just told me that he no longer loves me but keeps me around to handle his finances. FML
Today, I finally realized that my husband doesn't love me, but loves the concept of marriage, as many Christians come to love to appease whoever they must. This is destroying the marriage I envisioned for us and building one of regret, resentment, and even hate. FML
Today, my awful future daughter-in-law went off on me and said that I'm just jealous that she's marrying my son and I'm not. Furious, I told my husband, expecting him to side with me, but all he said was, "Well… are you?" FML
Today, my old man told me that he only married my mom because she convinced him she was pregnant with his child. In fact, she aborted a week later. "And then we had you instead." FML
Today, my husband's grandmother told me in confidence that he was diagnosed with psychopathy as a child, so in all likelihood my husband isn’t actually capable of feeling love for me. I’m just a useful tool to make him seem normal so doctors and therapists leave him alone. FML
Today, I was talking to my dad about how I don’t think I love my fiancé anymore. He sat me down and gave me a severe talking to that amounted to, “We’re a respectable religious family, he’ll be a good husband, you’ll make babies and grow old together. You don’t need to love him to do that.“ FML
Today, I dumped my fiance because his grandma, who raised him since birth, died and I overheard him making it clear that all he cared about was her inheritance. I thought he was my soulmate, but I can't be married to somebody like that. FML
Today, my daughter told me that now that she's a Christian, I can no longer see my grandchildren unless I repent from my "homosexual lifestyle." FML
Today, my husband of 10 years decided only after I told him I wanted a divorce that his niece is also his daughter. FML
Today, my wife told me how she really felt about me, and said she didn't love me anymore. We got married last month. FML

It seem like he was pressured into it.( that’s no excuse though). Sometimes grandmas can be scary. But he should have communicated what his grandma said and they could have gone forward in a different way. It is ok to no longer love someone, just be upfront about it. They might be upset/hurt about it but at least they know the truth.

It seem like he was pressured into it.( that’s no excuse though). Sometimes grandmas can be scary. But he should have communicated what his grandma said and they could have gone forward in a different way. It is ok to no longer love someone, just be upfront about it. They might be upset/hurt about it but at least they know the truth.
