Today, I was going to hang out with my crush and tell him how I felt, but he cancelled because I had COVID 5 months ago and his mom is afraid I’m contagious. I’m safer to hang out with because I now have antibodies and can’t transmit it. I’ve also had 4 negative tests since then. FML

I’m pretty sure you can get reinfected.

Didn’t they say the antibodies thing wasn’t definite? Regardless, 5 months is a long time. Pretty sure you’re not spreading it unless you unknowingly got reinfected

covid anti bodies last 3 months, plus there's mutations, there's no benefit *medically* to hanging out with you

Never said a benefit, said less likely to have it. Also, a quick fact check says that’s the “minimum” time to keep them. There is no maximum time, and it depends on each persons specific situation.
