Emotional
Today, my mom told my girlfriend an embarrassing story about me, along the lines of whenever my parents would take me school clothes shopping, I'd cry because I hated all the choices they gave me. The most recent incident of this? Last year. I'm 18. FML

Be thankful your parents buy you clothes. I spent my childhood naked.

If I was your girlfriend, I would want to know something that ******* weird, so I could stop being your girlfriend. What's wrong with you?

Please come back and let us know when you're going shopping again... I can not even imagine this in real life! I would love to antagonize you if I were to ever see it!! Wow

Really? Get a job and buy your own damn clothes then.

Pants must not have been skinny enough... You know you're old enough to get a job right? Buy your own clothes.

You throw tantrums when mummy and papa are spending their $ on you AND you have a girl friend? The girl friend should probably shop around for a male with more man credentials and it sounds like OP needs to grow up.

OP, your parents treat you like a child because you act like one. It is that simple. Don't blame them. They are not going to change until you do. Change is hard and so is growing up.

Better yet... MAKE your own! Even more choices, and exactly what you want.
