Dumbass customers
Today, I had a customer scream at me for ruining their child's birthday party. They had bought a Piñata from me and didn't know they had to fill it themselves. The kids had hit it open and it was empty. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, a customer complained about me for getting their order wrong. This would have been fine if they hadn't sent their ten-year-old kid to order for them. FML
Today, a customer yelled at me because the cherry pie he bought had cherries in it, and he wanted a refund. FML
Today, my son accidentally damaged another kid in the face with a baseball bat, while blindfolded trying to hit a piñata. Except there was no piñata, or blindfold. FML
Today, a kid got his hand stuck inside my store's giant gumball machine. He started crying, and his negligent trainwreck of a mom bitched me out for being "unobservant." I'd been mopping up the mess she'd made after she'd spilled an open can of beer all over the floor. FML
Today, one of our store's beach balls came out of nowhere and whacked me in the back of my head. I started reaming out two young girls for playing in the store, even when they said it wasn't them. Soon after, one of my employees admitted that it was her. I made some 7-year-olds cry and it wasn't them. FML
Today, I received an angry phone call from a friend whose birthday party I missed last night. Yesterday, I gave birth to my son. She claims that I ruined her party and demands I still bring her a birthday gift. FML
Today, I was hosting my kid's birthday party. I had a bunch of small trinkets, so I grabbed the first container I could find to put them in. It wasn’t until I went out and someone yelled, "I’ll take a heavy flow!" that I realized it was an empty tampon box. FML
Today, as a pizza delivery driver, I delivered to a customer with young kids. She gave the pizzas to one of her kids to take inside, where the kid dropped them and it went everywhere. She then rang the store and claimed that I'd dropped the pizzas, then told her to "suck it up." FML
Today, I was at work, stocking shelves. A customer got mad because I was in the way of her "shopping time" and knocked down all the work I had done. FML
Today, I got sent home from work after a customer's daughter kicked me in the balls because her order was wrong. She was 6 years-old. FML

That's just....idiotic. Even if the customer didn't know you had to fill them, you'd think they would feel/hear that there was nothing inside it. An empty pinata is much lighter than a full one. o_O

Somehow idiots like that seem to have more kids...

Smart people know how to use birth control

Believe it or not, there is an actual sociological trend to this. Smart (successful) people are more likely to wait until a certain milestone before having children ("I don't have time to work on my Master's if I get pregnant; I'll wait until after graduation.") Then they're more likely to take outside events like economic recession into a account. Since they waited, they're pretty much aging out of their baby-making years.

That's the plot to idiocracy.

you should've then cracked open a piñata on their head.

And again it would be empty. Great plan there.

That was my point ...

If you were going for a pun I would've said their head must be hollow. But I'm no good at puns so don't listen to me.

Like the empty piñata, life is full of disappointment. So the only logical way to deal with it is to scream at the totally innocent. Of course. (Sarcasm)

What an amazing comment, thank God for the the (sarcasm) note otherwise I couldn't have guessed.

I'm surprised by how many people can't pick up sarcasm in text, even when it's blatantly obvious. So I felt the need to add it.

The kids were just being prepared for said "life of disappointment" via the piñata.. Brilliant.

They should've looked for the guy with a "pedo" mustache and free candy written on his van.

Well it's better than having you in *office. Last I checked, the parents in the FML were not government officials so I think we're safe.
