Today, my fiancé forgot my birthday. I did however remember to tell him we were sending his mother flowers, for her birthday, which falls a week after mine. We've been together 10 years. I sent her flowers on my birthday. FML

Today, it was our 12th anniversary. My husband only remembered because family members texted to wish us a happy anniversary. When he went out to the store to get groceries, he didn't even buy me flowers. He's also irritated that I "seem sad or something." FML
Today, it’s my birthday. My boyfriend of almost 4 years completely forgot. FML

Today, it's my wedding anniversary; my husband forgot. My daughter gave me two beautiful long stem roses and said she would look after her sister while we went out to celebrate. My daughter is more romantic and thoughtful than my own husband. FML
Today, I realized that my boyfriend‘s birthday was two weeks ago, so I immediately sent him a message as if it was today. He didn’t believe my excuses. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I went to his best friend’s birthday party. He got her red roses, a necklace and $100 Victoria’s Secret Gift Card. This year he forgot my birthday, gave me a hug and told me to leave his apartment because he had homework to do. We’ve been together for two years. FML
Today, my boyfriend treated me to a surprise romantic dinner, got me a huge balloon bouquet, a dozen roses, and a beautiful card for my birthday. Too bad it's his ex's birthday and not mine. FML
Today, it's my wife's birthday. I'm known for being forgetful and she already thinks I don't care. I had some little things planned for today, but her sister messaged me telling me to remember her birthday before I even said happy birthday. Now my wife is crying and upset because once again, I "only act on prompt." FML
Today, after my husband said he forgot our anniversary 2 days ago because he was so focused on planning for today, he forgot what was so important about today. It's my birthday. FML
Today, I've been so stressed out that I forgot my own birthday. I only remembered when my mom talked to me to let me know she wasn't planning on doing anything for it. FML

Here is a worse one, Richard. One of my brother's has been engaged for 22yrs (together 24). They have a house, kids, RV, car and pets together. He did give the perfect answer when she asked him one time when I was over at their house when they were going to get married. He said "I don't want to get tied down" 😂😂😂😂

We were together for ten years before he proposed with a very nice ring on Christmas. We already own a home together, we just weren't in a huge rush. He did make up for the forgotten birthday, but I was SO MAD.

I don’t particularly want to get married so I wouldn’t be worried about being with someone that long without getting married. I do want to at least be proposed to one day to know that someone would like to take that step with me but don’t necessarily need to get married.

Ehh.. has he ever forgotten it before? Honestly, with Covid and days feeling like they melt together depending on people's situations, don't worry about it. And honestly, if it means that much to you for someone to wish you happy birthday, remind them subtlety a week before or something. Especially if they're prone to forgetting. I've been married almost 11 years and I really don't give a shit if my husband remembers or not. Every day is a blast with him and the kids! Shit happens and people forget or mess up. I guarantee your day isn't destroyed because he forgot, go out and have dinner or something! :)
