Today, the guy I met on Tinder texted me about our date tomorrow. He seemed nervous. I come to find out his mom overheard us talking on the phone and wants to meet me. I said OK, that’s not big deal. That’s when he told me that he’s actually 17. I now hate myself because I’m 26. FML

Today, a woman turned up uninvited at my house, ready for our first date. After some embarrassed investigating, it turns out my mother signed me up to Tinder and arranged a date, all without telling me, because she refuses to believe I prefer solitude over dating. FML
Today, I had a Tinder date with a girl who lied about her age; she was 22 but had told me she was 37. She used the word “like” seven times in the same sentence and and announced she expected me to pay her entire bill. I just walked away, so she threw a waiter's tray at the back of my head. FML

Today, I was finally going to break down my social barrier by going out on a date with a nice guy I recently met on a dating site. Just at the start of the date, he asked me how old I was, and out of pure nervousness, I blurted out, "12!" I'm 24. FML
Today, I went bowling with my parents. This cute guy works there and he always flirts with me. My mom just so happened to see it today. As we left, she says to him, "You know she's 13, right?" I'm 17. FML
Today, I went out to meet a wonderful woman I'd chatted with online. I did have a few fears about if she was really just some guy trying to make a fool out of me. When I met her, she really was a girl, and was happy to see me. Problem: she was actually 13. I'm 34. FML

Thank you! I've never tried Tinder as my photo would be swipe-left fodder. If they have an app where the first thing the ladies see is my sparkling personality, I'd sign up for that!

If you were looking to F, then you should probably put him on a waiting list. If you were just looking to have a good time, and meet a new person, then go for it. Maybe he'll be surprisingly mature, and you'll find you have more in common than you expect. Nine years isn't a huge gap, and it'll seem smaller as time passes. If the genders were reversed then in one or two years, no one would bat an eye.

reject now!! a friend of mine is in jail now for meeting a girl on tinder. he hooked up with her and later found out she was underage. As soon as he learned her age he broke it off but that doesn't change the sleeping with a minor issue. 😔
