The problem here is obvious, you have to do those things for MORE THAN ONE DAY ... sheesh. I mean, OP doesn't say that, but the laws of physics dictate that if you reduce your caloric intake by "nearly half" while then increasing your energy requirements you will absolutely burn fat in order to maintain the baseline energy requirements of day to day cellular function. She had _no_ results. I don't think its too far off to presume that OP tried for a day or two, drove down her metabolism, gave up, went to a buffet and then gorged on calories.... and *SHOCK* gained weight. YDI for not understanding dietary biology before giving a halfassed attempt at a diet.
lmao at #247 ;) You should've gone to Specsavers, I mean Weight Watchers lol
try harder.. bitch!
I have same problem. :(
there could be several reasons for this, several of which have been pointed out already: 1) not enough cardio 2) you're gaining muscle 3) you have an extremely low metabolism the problem with most "diets" is that people get on them, then after they've reached their projected weight, they eat in the same manner that they were eating before they began dieting, which will cause you to balloon up fairly quickly. also, the best diet (read: permanent lifestyle) is one that will cause you to lose weight sloooooooowly. it may take a bit of patience on your part, but it is healthier for you, and will benefit you in the long run. lastly, the food you eat and the water you drink account for how much you weigh at any given time throughout the day. just take all these into account, and be consistent with what you eat, and you'll see results in time! |the kid|
myth about water? it's not a myth. idk about it burning calories, but if you drink nothing but water, you aren't drinking soda and juices, thus cutting a ton of calories
calories are nothing, dieting is only gonna slow your metabolism. if you want good tips listen to a podcast called "healthy mond fit body"

How long have you been on your new diet/workout plan? Have you been keeping track of your measurements? You do know new muscle weighs more than lost fat, right? and if you weighed yourself the same day as your buffet, the added weight is just food in your intestines. Why do people always associate successful health plans with numbers on a scale?
How long have you been dieting? If you really haven't lost any weight perhaps you should see a doctor.
