you're not eating enough. your body probably thinks it's starving and is trying to keep every calorie it can get. YDI.
You're putting food, which does weigh something, into your body without expecting to weigh more afterwards?
A severe cut back in calories will shock you system making it hoard what it has and not burn it off. you need to slowly reduce calories and eat healthy.
really not a situation to try to apply any law of physics but yes, fatty doesn't understand cellular metabolism and physiology
drinking water to lose weight isn't a myth, but it has to be very cold water your body spends calories to warm it up, BUT it's only a very very tiny amount if memory serves, about 4-5 calories per 32 fl oz
why the hell would you go pig out at a BUFFET if you're trying to lose weight? ydi for sure

How long have you been on your new diet/workout plan? Have you been keeping track of your measurements? You do know new muscle weighs more than lost fat, right? and if you weighed yourself the same day as your buffet, the added weight is just food in your intestines. Why do people always associate successful health plans with numbers on a scale?
How long have you been dieting? If you really haven't lost any weight perhaps you should see a doctor.
