Today, my mom accused me of having an eating disorder, and I didn't correct her. Truth is, I lost weight after I went off the pill a year ago. I'm too embarrassed to tell my mom that I haven't had anyone in a year. FML

Today, after I skipped dessert for the third day in a row, my mom cornered me and accused me of being anorexic. I'm actually not far off being clinically obese and I'm just trying to diet, but nothing I say will convince her. She wants me to see a psychiatrist about a disorder I don't even have. FML

Today, a coworker complimented me on losing weight, and said that she wished she could drop a few pounds too. I was too embarrassed to tell her that the only reason I've lost weight is because I haven't been able to afford to eat. FML

Today, I felt sick to my stomach, so I told my mother I didn't want to eat dinner. She started accusing me of being anorexic, so I ate a little bit anyway to make her stop. I then threw up, only for her to take it as confirmation that I have an eating disorder. FML

Today, I told my mom that I'm bulimic and have been for a few years, and that I needed help. She responded by saying, "Well that's clearly not working for you. Why don't you try anorexia?" She then patted me on the head, smiled, and walked away. FML

Yea.... #14.... My sister in law went off of that shit, even though she was told "she couldn't have children" (because she was hit by a car when she was younger, and they had to remove 80% of the parts) but none the less she went by that... and she still got prego. lol. But.... On another note... don't be so self righteous. It is REALLY unattractive.

Why wouldn't you correct her? Just tell her you've been working out lately... And even if you wanted to tell her the truth, why would she be disappointed in you? She's your mother, she'll probably be happy.

#14 You're a cow... and some people arent regular enough to use that method... You should use condoms anyway because otherwise youll get diseases... and I think its gross when a man comes inside a woman, its as if shes a toilet. (Unless theyre trying to reproduce, obviously.) I am not too sure what #14 has to do with this FML. She's not having sex... she doesn't need to be on the pill or any other type of birth control method. What's the point of the post? As for the OP, why would you be embarrassed about telling your mom that? Does she want/expect you to have a lot sex?
