14 has nothing to do with this FML whatsoever, come off your high horse. no birth control is 100% effective, and that particular method is probably right up there with pulling out when it comes to getting accidently knocked up. we've all heard of it, it's just not reliable enough for most of us. as far as the FML, seriously, who is embarassed to tell their MOM that they're NOT having sex? i assume my mother knows i do, being as i'm married with a child, but i don't tell her about it, and she doesn't tell me about ******* my dad. parents don't want to think of their kids as sexual beings any more than we wanna think of our parents as such. it's just....gross.
