Today, my mom accused me of having an eating disorder, and I didn't correct her. Truth is, I lost weight after I went off the pill a year ago. I'm too embarrassed to tell my mom that I haven't had anyone in a year. FML

Today, after I skipped dessert for the third day in a row, my mom cornered me and accused me of being anorexic. I'm actually not far off being clinically obese and I'm just trying to diet, but nothing I say will convince her. She wants me to see a psychiatrist about a disorder I don't even have. FML

Today, a coworker complimented me on losing weight, and said that she wished she could drop a few pounds too. I was too embarrassed to tell her that the only reason I've lost weight is because I haven't been able to afford to eat. FML

Today, I felt sick to my stomach, so I told my mother I didn't want to eat dinner. She started accusing me of being anorexic, so I ate a little bit anyway to make her stop. I then threw up, only for her to take it as confirmation that I have an eating disorder. FML

Today, I told my mom that I'm bulimic and have been for a few years, and that I needed help. She responded by saying, "Well that's clearly not working for you. Why don't you try anorexia?" She then patted me on the head, smiled, and walked away. FML

Today, I told my mom that I think I’m anorexic and she told me she didn’t care. When I asked why, in disbelief she replied, "Honey, you are 5’3 and over 350 lbs, at this point you NEED to be anorexic." FML

Am I the only woman who isn't this stupid?! The Pill is not the only form of birth control. Go to Google and look up: Natural Family Planning Do you know what that is? It's where you count the days during your cycle and figure out when you ovulate, because THAT is the only time you can get pregnant. The egg only lives for a day and a half or so, and after that, you're safe to have sex again. Here's to make it easy: You have your period for, let's just say, a week. Then you have a week of free sex. During the second week, sometime, you ovulate. Then the third week is free sex again. Then your period. And the cycle begins anew. ****, it seems like I'm the only one who knows ANYTHING about a woman's body. Please, somebody come forward and tell me I'm not the only one!

okay, #14.. know-it-all. birth control isn't for JUST preventing pregnancy, it's also for regulating periods. every woman is different.

Some women ovulate at odd times or may release more than one egg. Also sperm can live for several days. That method has one of the lowest success rates.

#14 don't give yourself that much credit. Damn. You aren't the only one. You can also guesstimate which day is your day of ovulation. Usually women get hotflashes and run a little bit of a fever on that day. It's also like the 14-20 day in between your menstruation cycle.

Studies have shown that the pill doesn't really make you gain weight, just some water weight or a few pounds for the first month or two while you're on it until your body adjusts.
