Today, my grandmother patched up my $300, vintage, limited edition, designer jeans because she thought I'd accidentally ripped them. FML

well thats what you get for buying $300 jeans.

Maybe now you can reflect on how absurd it is to spend $300 on Jeans that are ripped, simply because they are "trendy"...

I really have never understood why people are stupid enough to want to buy ripped jeans in the first place...especially ones that cost that much! Your life is ******, not because of your grandma and your jeans...but because you are a moron and obviously enjoy wasting money on stupid shit. No doubt you will marry a guy and compelely wipe out his credit cards and bank accounts buying stupid expensive shit all the time, and then your stupid ass will have to go on Oprah or something to work out your problems!! With any luck, your husband will be smart enough to divorce you before things get out of hand.

YDI!!! why the ******* hell would you pay that much for ONE PAIR OF JEANS?? And do you know that you can rip jeans yourself, at home?? You really don't need to spend 300 ******* dollars. Your grandma was only trying to be nice btw. Appreciate it.

You spent $300 on a pair of jeans?! You could have bought some cheaper ones and ripped them yourself with scissors. That $300 could have fed several starving children in Africa. YDI in my opinion for buying ridiculously expensive jeans.

#82, jeans from Abercormbie and Wal Mart do NOT look the same. they do not fit the same, they are not as comfortable or as durable. just because someone wants to spend a little bit of extra money (jeans from hollister are only 30-50 dollars) for quality doesn't mean they're spoiled or naive. people like you are just jealous because you've only got $12 bucks in your pocket to spend on thin, shapeless wal mart clothes is no one's fault but yours.

#346 lol is all I can say. Just because something costs more doesn't mean it's better quality. my favorite pair of shoes are these really cute white sandles that cost me $5 at Walmart. They've lasted 2 year so far. My friend, bought a similar pair of sandles for $30 at another store, they lasted 2 months. (and trust me, my sandles are "stylish" as i've gotten many compliments on them and many shocked responses when I reveal how little they cost) The most expensive pair of jean I own cost $50 These jeans couldn't even last the season before the pockets completely wore through and that back seam ripped. As opposed to most of my other jeans which cost about $20-$30 which have lasted me years. Just because something costs more doesn't mean it's better quality. I could see maybe spending $100 on a really high quality, amazing pair of jeans being reasonable (assuming that the pants are actually high quality and amazing) (and I believe most Abercromie jeans cost about that... having only been in the store once, don't hold me to that) $300 is a bit absurd.

I always love coming on these sights and seeing who writes a ******* monologue... Examples: 347, 340, 281, 227. P.S, OP you deserved it for wasting money on jeans. I have a pair of $10 jeans that have ripped over time. Tip: Once you stop growing, you can have the same pair of jeans for a really long time (a few years, maybe) and they rip more naturally, better than any jean-ripping machine.

You spent $300 on ripped designer jeans? Really? Wow, I don't think there is anything more conformist or idiotic than that.
