Today, I got my annual blood test. The nurse was inexperienced and it took her several tries to insert the needle properly. When I get back home, my fiancé starts yelling at me and storms out. The reason? I am a recovering drug addict and my arm appeared as if I had been shooting up. FML

drawing blood isn't that hard. if you have crappy veins the nurse should get a smaller gauge needle and also get someone else in there.

#104 - its quite common. I have to get a blood test done every four months due to medication that I'm on. There are plenty of medications and illnesses that need to be carefully monitored by blood tests. FYL, though, OP.
