Today, I emailed the guy I like to ask him on a coffee date. He responded, declining by telling me he never drinks coffee. We met at Starbucks. FML

Today, I went on an a date with a guy I met online. We were waiting in line at Starbucks when he turned to me and said, "Do you want anything?" Just before I was about to answer, he practically shoved in front of me and paid for himself. The cashier looked more horrified than I did. FML

Starbucks don't just sell coffee! Besides; asking via e-mail . . . At least a phone call? That's just me anyway. I don't think it's a FYL but not quite a YDI either . . .

He's a bad liar. At least that means if you somehow do manage to get a date with him you'll know when he's being honest.

#8... most people would take "coffee date" in literal context. I wouldn't assume it was anything other than going to a coffee shop and talking. sooooooo yeah.

He could have at least done what I used to do, which was go on the date, and if you sense that it is heading south, start acting obnoxious so that she won't feel bad if she doesn't see you again.
