Today, I am currently grounded for three weeks, have no car, cell phone, or television privileges, and am not allowed to spend more than 10 minutes on the computer a day. The reason why: I was seven minutes past my 9'oclock curfew. I'm 18. FML

All parents are dickheads that what I stick with

My Mum was talking about restricting my computer usage... so I bought a laptop. Parents can suck, but 7 minutes late for a 9:00 curfew? That's ridiculous. Oh well, hopefully you can move out soon.

so move out you dumb ****. it's their house and their rules. if you don't like the rules -move. or justbreak the rules and ignore them when they rant and rave then tell them to go **** themselves and steal money out of their wallets - like my kids.

Wow a 9 o'clock curfew. Now that's a 13-14 year old curfew. Now that's a little over the top for being only 7 minutes late IMO. Here's an idea kid get a job and move out. I've never (really) had a curfew.

Wow wtf! You need to get out of there!

like a ton of people have said, I hope you're going to college in the fall! If not, I'd start planning to come Spring. Can't afford it? fill out you FAFSA and get some loans. There are loans out there that your parents don't have to cosign on if you think that would be an issue.

My parents changed my curfew from 8:30, to 7:30, because for the first time in three months, I missed the bus to get home, and had to wait a half hour for the next one. I'm seventeen. It was a Saturday night. I know how you feel!

I'm 24 and I work full time and pay my parents rent as well are pay all my own bills as well as cover some of my sisters' expenses without asking for it back from my parents. I have an 10:30 curfew, and if I'm gonna be later than that I have to take one of my younger sisters with me the oldest of whom is 18. Don't you dare complain!

if you're able to pay your parents rent and cover your share of the bills, couldn't you move out?
