Today, I visited my grandma. She offered me some chips in a Ziploc bag. I thought they were sour cream and onion chips from the look of them. They tasted funny, but I didn't want to be rude and I kept eating. I looked closer after a while and noticed that what I thought were chives was actually mold. FML

They say that Buddha died from eating spoiled meat the home of some Chinese peasants. He felt it would be rude and disrespectful not to eat what they had been kind enough to offer from their limited supplies. If they make a statue of you, I am SO gonna rub your belly.

You know, there's a certain point where being polite to old people causes problems... Yes, you must respect them, but sometimes they're just in the damn way. Oh yeah, people in California, remember that guy who drove through a farmer's market and kept going? AND had no remorse about it? Think about that. So basically I'm saying, how is preventing horrible intestinal problems impolite?

What is it with old people keeping food around until way past it's expiry date? My grandmother does that too, always trying to cut the mold off of "perfectly good" expired cheese. Gross.

my grandmother gave me 3 year old junior mints from her purse one time and i broke a tooth trying to bite it. she was like "oops, i thought they were still good." and then i looked at the box. FML.

ew. and btw its not rude if you done eat them ._. if you dont like it you shouldn't eat it.... especially if you find out it has mold....

Haha your grandma is trying to kill you. And #2, i didnt get that :/

My aunt has a lot of expired food. That's why all our relatives always buy food over to her house.

This happens to me all the time at my grandparents' house. I'll pour a glass of milk, take a drink, and realize I just drank cottage cheese instead. Trust me, I know how it feels. On the bright side, you got your dose of penicillin. =]

Lmao grandparents and food expiry.. -.-'' Once, my great-grandma tried to make me eat dry popsicles... Apparently they had been there for 1-3 years... =_=
