Today, I passed the girl I like a note asking her out, signed Mark H. She picked it up, read it, turned around and asked me, "Do you know who Mark H. is?" FML
Today, a cute girl I know in passing approached me very nervously and blushing like mad. She gave me a note with a number on it, said to call her, then ran away. When I called the number later, it was one of those rejection hotlines. What the hell? FML
Today, I finally got the guts to text this cute girl at school. I started sending flirtatious texts, only to find out the hard way that she'd given me her boyfriend's number. FML

personally I think notes are pretty sweet still, more personal than an email or something. Hopefully she over looks the whole fainting bit and gives you a shot op.

13 - That's actually a really sweet thing to do. You don't have to be young to express your feelings like that, sometimes the more old fashioned ways can be the most romantic. I'd rather get a note like that than a text message any day.

I'm guessing you're 8 years old because older people know that in the past, people wrote love notes and letters all the time. I personally find the notion very endearing.
