Today, I tried to download some network-monitoring software for the office as I suspect that one of my staff has been constantly downloading torrents. It wouldn't download because someone was using all the bandwidth. FML

Today, discovered that all the viruses I have gotten on my computer at work haven't been from anything I've done, but because my boss has secretly been using it after hours to download or watch porn so he wouldn't risk getting a virus on his own computer. I've lost 3 major projects due to this. FML
Today, I was on a conference call and digital meeting at work when I got bored and started surfing the Internet. Little did I know that my desktop was being shared. My boss was on the call and saw everything. FML
Today, I let my friend use my computer to download some music. Now, my computer has 6 viruses and 4 songs, all of which I hate. FML
Today, as always, my boss is too cheap to buy more than 2 profiles for a critical software. Six employees compete in a daily thunderdome to log on and do their work before getting kicked off and losing everything. FML
Today, I increased my internet plan to help speed up downloading a giant 600GB file. After paying for the upgrade, I got a notification that the plan change wouldn’t be effected until 24 hours later. Of course, it actually upgraded mere moments after the file download had already completed. FML
Today, I heard a student in the class I assist having trouble with a download. I walked over and showed him how to save to his flash drive, and how to use 7z to unzip said file. I then found out I'd just assisted him in downloading a half gig of porn during class. FML
Today, I got two viruses on my laptop. One was a fake anti-spyware program that cluttered the screen with pop-ups. The other opened the browser repeatedly, each time to a generic porn site. This all conveniently happened at work, on a projector and during a meeting. FML
Today, we spent an entire day without being able to do work because our internet connection was down. Turns out, only the router had crashed and nobody bothered to reset it "to avoid doing further damage". FML
Today, my dad got a warning from our ISP for going well over their fair usage limit. I barely use our wifi, and I keep telling him he should password-protect our router to stop people leeching our Internet. He's blaming me anyway, and says I'm grounded until January. FML
Today, my internet was so slow I couldn't even load an internet speed test to see how slow my internet was. FML

Once it downloads you'll find the culprit and now at least you know there will be many opportunities to find proof against them.

#41 If it's in an office it is most likely a wired connection, therefore changing the password would do nothing.

With cable you can still take them out 1 by 1 and see after which one the bandwith is back to normal, then you have the culprit

The easiest solution: Just go to their office and tell your staff "I don't know which one of you is downloading large files but I want that person to stop doing this immediately. I'm trying to be nice and not make a big deal out of it but if it doesn't stop I will have to take the matter further. I want to remind you that you are not anonymous on the network. Have a nice day."

I watch Netflix at work. I go on eBay and Amazon at work. I could download almost anything I want at work. Some jobs allows Internet surfing when it's slow. Depends on the job.

That may be 30, but if you start disrupting your coworkers ability to work because of it (not saying you are, I work IT and understand) it becomes a problem.
