Today, I was walking to school. When I was about halfway there, someone put a gun to the back of my head and told me to give him all my money. As I slowly turned around, I saw it was my dad putting a banana to my head. FML

That's not lame at all... your dad is:
1- fun and willing to do tight/crazy shit like that, that most parents are too uptight to do
2- giving you a valuable life lesson, on that you need to be muchh more aware of your surroundings and stuff when you are walking on the street, bcuz a mugging CAN happen and is much more likely TO happen if you aren't paying good attention... (if a mugger sees a guy who appears alert and aware and adroit, he's PROBABLY gonna wait for the next guy to come along, who will likely be slower and less aware.. common sense, just bcuz somebody is a mugger doesnt make them a COMPLETE idiot..)
3- your dad didn't actually endanger your life, he was just playing a practical joke that should make you feel relieved afterwards AND should teach you a life lesson

that happened to my dad,but it turned out the guy he THOUGHT was a friend was a Rican and the banana was a knife. dad's 6'6",240, this Guy, oh 5'5" or so.my dad snapped the blade and chased the punk a half block until he realized he was bleeding from his back and his throat. he came out none the worse for wear n
