(0)gah ur bro is a dumbass
(0)...wow...seriously guys?

(+3)I miss the internet before dumb children decided that trolling is considered cool.
(0)Agreed.
(0)But, honestly, some trolls are funny, and life would be a lot more boring without them, although they are annoying, they make a compromising section of society. Back to topic, keep all valuable objects LOCKED in a safe place which only you have access to.
(0)#49- there is only a sprinkling of troll-posts that have made me laugh. Most are just incredibly repetitive and dull, and all the retards with broken troll detectors react to them in the usual same old way. Trolling is boring.
(0)...speaking of trolls...
But yah, only a handful of trolls have succeeded in making me laugh
Most just make me go "O_o wtf was the point of that?"

(0)Make your bro pay you back.
(0)How old is your brother? And why was he in your room? FYL.
(0)Does Wayne Bradey have to choke a bitch?
(0)Why would you pay $489 for Let it Be? I got it for five bucks. You sort of deserve it.
(0)cuz it probably was an original record.maybe autographed... i dunno
(+1)that is what i was gonna ask
an original new copy is still pretty cheap, and autographed it would be worth over a thousand
(+1)Kick his ass.
(0)It's probably vinyl and probably an original analog print, so it's not crappy digital like all the reprints are. To add to the value, sealed, mint condition, etc. You can pay however much you want for vinyl
(+1)Why would you pay that much for that record even if it is a very first print?
(0)Because you have NO idea who The Beatles are, the legacy they had, or their overall impact on music and culture.
(+1)Yeah, it's the band's legacy that makes you overpay for their album by about $480.
(0)It's called a collectible item, dipshit.
(+1)you want to make a bet on that?
I have the 1st print of the Record.
I'm getting the mono CD box set in September, only 10,000 printed.
I have been a fan of the Beatles & buying their products for over 40 years.
So my question still stands, as others have asked the same question. We just want to know why
the OP paid so much for the record. It is not something to take personally. We're not insulting the
music. We are just trying to learn something new.
My over all favorite LP is "The Beatles." Know to most as, "The White Album."
(+1)aww i'm so sorry
you really need to get revenge, this worked with my brother
a few times a week, sneak in his room and pour hot water over his bed and he'll think he still wets it. i saw a packet of those incontinence nappies in my brothers room the other day.
#10 - On 08/05/2009 at 3:15am by sophiexo
(0)omgosh WIN!
(0)why don't you just pee in his bed? hot water doesn't have a rank smell
(0)oh i would, its just it'd look REALLY awkward if he woke up
#116 - On 08/06/2009 at 3:03am by sophiexo
(0)Holy shit you are my hero.
(0)Geez, that is evil!! roflmao =D
(0)Ouch! FYL indeed! I hope he reimburses you...
#14 - On 08/05/2009 at 3:17am by caancoha
(0)YDI. Shit like this should never be in reach of any young sibling. I bought a vinyl from my favorite band years ago and hid it in the most secretive and hard-to-reach place in my room so no one would screw with it. It was a special DJ-only record, so not many exist, especially not in perfect condition. I have it in a safe now.
(0)yes, because when you buy something valuable to enjoy, the ONLY place it should be kept is locked/hidden away.....
(0)Ahh, FYL! :( I'm sorry man.
(-8)Too many negative votes, comment buried. Show the comment.
The Beatles are bad anyways, you should be thanking your brother for destroying it. Hopefully it will knock some sense into your head that you should not spend so much money on bad bands.
(0)yeah, just some crap old band that millions loved.
even if you only like shitty recycled chart music now
doesn't mean you can't have respect for the beatles
#24 - On 08/05/2009 at 3:51am by sophiexo
(-1)Do you not know who the Beatles are? How many times did you have to be dropped on your head as a child to damage your brain or ears that badly? Go listen to a few songs, read up on your 1960's historical events, then come back here and tell me what you think. They were a phenomenon that has not been reproduced yet and probably never will be, and for good reason.
(-3)Too many negative votes, comment buried. Show the comment.
Well, I hope you're not trolling, because it's good to see someone else who doesn't like the Beatles. I must just hate all pop music because I can't stand them.
(0)wow. not pop. by any means. i hope you know how ignorant your statement is. i hate pop with a passion. i can guarantee you that the beatles are not pop. i have a feeling that one listen through of abbey road or sgt. pepper's lonely hearts club band will quickly change how you feel about the beatles.
(0)Sorry, but The Beatles were pop. They were just revolutionary. Pop music is really a softer version of rock n' roll, which is why it's so easy to listen to. The Beatles were cutting edge for their day, and ushered in a whole new wave of bands which is why they're so "revered" in culture. Like, Gene Simmons from Kiss and Joey Kramer from Aerosmith both watched the Ed Sullivan show when The Beatles first hit America and were totally blown away. The Beatles had it all down - the look, the catchy hooks of a song, the merchandising. They were pop, but they were revolutionary.
(+1)The Beatles are absolutely pop music. Not to be confused with the modern pseudo-genre of popular nonsense.
(0)no way! the beatles were the first punkrock band. not pop.
and op: i bought a $290 copy of revolver a few years back, and would be devastated if something happened to it. Ydon'tDI by any means, fuk these haters. regardless of age, people should show your belongings respect.
(+1)No, punk rock emerged in the 70's from the garage rock/DIY scene. The Beatles have absolutely no ties to garage rock or DIY. Punk rock is almost entirely defined by fast, loud percussion. It is not punk rock without the drummer playing as fast and loud as possible. Needless to say, this does not describe the Beatles. The only similarity between them is socially and politically inspired lyrics, and obviously you can't consider every artsit with a political stance punk rock.
(0)Ever listen to Helter Skelter? Tell me that's pop.
(0)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsVlmp8eQ7s
Yep, definitely pop music.
Anyway, that sucks for you dude. The Beatles are amazing and I suggest you kick your brother's ass.
(+1)I would have killed him. Even if it was a $5 copy of Let It Be, if anyone breaks my Beatles Albums then there'll be hell to pay.
(0)It's not something you could have seen coming, so I don't really think this is your fault. It is in some respects for leaving it out, but it's more your brother's fault for not asking before borrowing something that is yours and using it as a frisbee. Older brother or younger brother, dude needs to learn some manners.
(0)Your brother is an assmuffin.
(+1)Use your brother as a frisbee, he deserves capital punishment for this crime.
(+2)You're in luck, there's one on eBay, brand new, still shrinkwrapped, with a buy-it-now of $37.
http://cgi.ebay.com/THE-BEATLES-LET-IT-BE-BRAND-NEW-LP-VINYL_W0QQitemZ200361094551QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMusic_on_Vinyl?hash=item2ea673ad97&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
YDI for paying $500 for a $20 album.
(0)Well, maybe it was autographed? You never know.
(0)Damn. Let it Be was a great album. Kill him.
(0)OP, you should force him to become an excellent musician (via torture and blackmail), and make him imitate the Beatles to re-create the album, note for note. When he fails (which he will), put him in a monkey costume and make him dance on the street to pay you back for the album, the music lessons, and the monkey suit.
(0)win
(0)gee.. what do kids learn in school nowadays? they'r not getting any smarter!
(0)The government continues to cut back on education because they don't know how to handle their own money for shit we don't need.
(0)YDI for having a brother
(0)Okay I love the Beatles, but unless that was the picture disc that no one knew existed signed by all four members, you got ripped off.
I just saw it new at the record shop for like $20.
(0)That's terrible. The Beatles are amazing FYL indeed.
(+2)"Today I learned that"
"Today I learned that"
"Today I learned that"
"Today I learned that"
This phrase is wayyy overused.
(+1)Yes! and "Today, I realized that".
Those phrases are really becoming the new
"Proceed to/ proceeded to" for me.
(0)id kill your brother... beatles FTW
(0)Well, if it helps I'll sell you my "Help" record for $400.
(0)looks like someone skipped the english class where they teach you how to use hyphens
#39 - On 08/05/2009 at 4:31am by shankzilla
(0)FYL! I want blood! xD
(+1)Are you serious? It doesn't cost that much! Maybe it does, but you can find places where it's waaay cheaper. I actually went to an antique store two towns away and they sold beatles records for 12-20 bucks. There's lots of elvis records too for the same price. You just have to dig and look through stuff thoroughly.
(0)The thought of a broken Beatles record makes me sad : (
Hopefully your brother pays you back and/or you can find a new one.
(+1)I'am guessing your brother has departed this world by now.
(0)atleast it wasn't sgt. pepper's. but you still deserve it for not having that shit put away in a glass case.
(+1)FYL, bro. The Beatles are the greatest band of all time.
(0)Agreed.
(0)omg!!!!! NO! the beatles deserve better than that. ;-( FYL.
(0)THE BEATLES ARE FOR FAGS!!!!!!!!!
Jkjkjkkjkjk!
I feel bad for you, man! He better pay you back... And btw, I was just kidding.
(+2)...?
those "jkjkjkjkjk"s don't fix that
That's like if i just said "I LOVE HITLER, AND JEWS ARE FAGS jkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjk"
but I will say "#53 IS A FAG" not jk
(+1)Dude, go destroy something expensive of his. It doesn't matter if the Beatles are cool/for fags/whatever, he screwed with something important to you. Go exact some retribution.
(0)So, they deserve having a brilliant record unjustly shattered becsuse it's classic, without whom music today would suck more than already does, and most bands would not have happened? Grunge, especially. Nirvana's breakout 'About A Girl' was EXTREMLY influenced by the Beatles, all grunge is is Beatlesque punk rock. Face it, Beatles are AMAZING. We love them 40 years after they broke up, we love John 29 years after he died, and we'll continue too.
*looks over* I should be a lawyer. I see it now, the broken Let It Be record vs. Someone who thinks they have a better taste in music.
(+1)ANCIENT GARBAGE!?!?!?!?!?!? you are a piece of fuck! the beatles are probably one of the greatest bands of all time, and thats a fact! now go take your little 8 year old ass of the computer and listen to the jonas brothers instead of insulting an amazing band. dumbshit
even though my profile says im 19, im acutally 12, and yes I collect old beatles records
(0)^ too bad you're a faggot. they're not that good of a band
(+1)Now now, let's not be too bitter that a 12 year old has better musical knowledge and taste than you.
Everyone can have their opinions and all, but it simply can not be historically denied that the Beatles revolutionized music, and none of the crap you listen to today would exist had the Beatles not done it first. Naturally not everyone is going to like the same band. We are different people. That doesn't make anyone a "faggot." Even if you don't like them, it is ignorant not to respect them.
(0)The trolls eat hearty tonight...
I think the brother is an idiot, if the twelve year old pretending to be nineteen thinks this is fucked then something is wrong. I don't know what OP's brother was thinking, I divine the future with the Beatles. Without them there would be no future for music. Assmuffin he is, as someone said above. The trolls should eat his heart out, and not the ones making stupid comments, I mean the ones with BO and who live under bridges. They would even be like "Fuck man, its the beatles." I mean hell, that's like tossing the Virgin Mary around. Sacred.
#132 - On 08/10/2009 at 10:20am by LaceyPatrickson
(0)Awwwww man dude ... fyl. The beatles were, and still are, awsome. And, for the record, I am only 14.
P.S: To that troll up there with all that Harry Potter junk, you fail. Know your stuff before posting stupid crap unrelayed to the post. The first book was called " Harry Potter and the SORCERER'S ( I spelled that wrong didn't I ) Stone", not the Philosoher's Stone. I am sure there are more errors, but I don't feel like reading all that junk.
(+1)Actually the first book was PHILOSOPHER'S STONE.
The title was changed for release in the States. Trust me, I work in publishing.
(0)#58's right, it was originally 'Philosophers Stone', maybe you should know your stuff before you start being an ass and try and correct people? :P
But FYL indeed, they were an awesome band. :(
(0)Let It Be? I'm assuming it's an album, but idk by who.
(0)The Beatles. Know 'em?
(0)#59 is ridiculous.
(0)awww. #59. I AM SORRY. you don't suck, just go give the most revolutionary band EVER, the beatles, a listen! ;)
(0)A tiny part of me hates you for having 'Let It Be', because I've wanted that as long as I've loved the Beatles, about a year.
But most of me hates your brother. My brother knows if he touches any of my CDs or records, I'll beat him. Go beat him with a chair and play 'Sgt. Pepper' as loud as you can. The Beatles were amazing.
By the way, I'm 13. So you can't attack me for being old!
(+1)If my friends break any of my $0.05 records, there will be hell to pay. That's how much I love my Beatles records, hell if I turn my head to the left I can see them all.
Also a quick search on ebay shows Let it Be for $5 on ebay, yours is probably signed or something,
If the case is OK and the record is just like any old Let it Be record (not signed or first copy or something) just buy it off of ebay and whoop your brother's ass.
(0)YDI for buying music.
(0)Trolls are getting less creative
(+1)I'd like to think this is bullshit because no one would be stupid enough to pay almost $500 for a Beatles record.
Let's use a little logic - the Beatles were and are one of the biggest, most popular bands on the planet. Millions of people bought Let It Be when it came out - all those millions of copies didn't vanish into thin air over night. Your dad or your uncle probably still has one in the attic. Go to any thrift store or used record store and you probably won't have trouble digging one up.
(0)YDI for not putting it in a frame on your wall.
(0)this is perhaps the most reasonable comment up here.
But if i may, perhaps he had JUST recieved it in the mail, and had to wait till he got home from work to put it up? Or maybe still had to get the supplies.
I still dont think the OP deserved it simply because he left something in HIS room that his brother decided to take and be destructive with.
(0)this makes me sad. :( how could ANYONE destroy anything of The Beatles? that is so wrong. :/ I am SO SO sorry. :(
(0)yeah any guys room is a sacred place... and no one should go in there without your permission which is the exact reason i installed a card key lock on my door
(0)Ouuuuuuch. That really sucks. We have the White Album on vinyl (3 actually) and 2 of them are now missing. Know how it feels man. FYL
(0)Ever listen to Helter Skelter? Tell me that's pop.
(0)it was an act of god...
(0)Good lord #59, where have you been? god what has this country come to...people not recognizing the Beatles' albums. stupid miley cyrus/jonas brothers are taking the place of real music.
(0)Ohhhh your little brother is a brat!!, nobody should sneak into someone else's room to steal such an amazing record and treating it no better then a frisbee... fyl man id kill him. The Beatles rock and destroying that album (esp. one that was worth so much) should be a federal crime.
(0)Dude, that sucks. Your brother owes you 500 bucks. Tell him that.
(+1)nobody pays that much for a record. nobody. ydi
(0)Today, I learned a VALUABLE lesson... ahaha...
Sorry, just had to point that out.
#96 - On 08/05/2009 at 1:56pm by Jomskylark
(0)Teach yourself the valuable lesson that throwing your brother's videoconsole off the window does not necesairly mean it will bounce off and get back to the room.
(+1)If that happened to me, my brother would be 'fixing a hole' in his friggin skull. No one should mess with Beatles records. Ever.
(0)Mako
(0) Wasnt this an episode of Drake and Josh...?
(0)No, I think that episode was when Drake actually had an album that was signed and he ended up having to give it away for a party invite (which he never got, anyway). I think. But I wouldn't be surprised if this had been incorporated in another episode.
(+1)you paid almost $500 for that??? I've seen those go for 15 euro in a record store in Athens Greece, along with the rest of the beatles LPs.
(0)Guys, i love the replacements
(0)Another idiot who can't even spell PAID wasting money on some "collectible" who is sorry when said worthless item gets destroyed.
Triple fail. YDI.
(0)teach him some physics like: what happens when a furious fist meets an idiot face :)
(0)Wow. That is a TOTAL waste of the Beatles.... sad sad sad story.
(0)Ok sorry that happend it sux. but seriously, YDI for paying that much for an album...
(+1)Hun, i have the let it be record and i bought it in Canada for $18.00.
(0)YDI for leaving a record, especially one that expensive (which I'm curious why it was so expensive anyways), in an area that dust could easily ruin it/it could fall/somebody could take it.
(0)I'm gonna have to blame Michael on this one.
(+1)that's a wicked ydi right there $489 for a record wow.
(0)Why the hell would you pay that much for a record anyway?
(0)two things make me believe you have no idea about collecting vintage vinyl. 1) You payed $489 for a Let It Be. unless it was a second pressing (which is doubtful) or a maggie mae release, you got gyped. 2) you believe that having the actual record itself intact determines the value. serious collectors know that it's the cover and the condition that it is in that determines value. good thing is you probably didn't lose as much value as you thought you did. bad thing is, chances are, even if it was in OPTIMAL condition to begin with, you probably weren't going to get over $75 anyways
(+1)Do the same with his Jonas Brothers CDs.
You know he has them.
(0)I'd kill him. Or charge him for a new one with interest...
(0)You overpaid for that. I got that album (once owned, twice played) at a store in birmingham for $200
(0)Kick his ass, make him eat the broken pieces of your vinyl, and then make him buy you a new one.
(0)oh god, thats horrible.
(0)That's awesome. The Beatles suck, so your brother did you a favor. Go listen to something that doesn't sound like baby boomers making life mistakes.
(0)His name is mako
(0)Hey 107 ur a dumb shit he doesnt even live in greece i no him
(0)"newest addition to the troll gang"? It sounds like you are a troubled abandoned child whose parents are child molestors/drunks and are now looking for something to be a part of due to a history of mental retardation.
(0)Man what dumbass uses vinyl as a frisbee? ur brother apparently. I love the beatles and if some one broke my record all hell would break loose!
(0)I bet his bones are very breakable too
(0)Wow. Why on earth did you spend so much for it? I wouldn't pay that much for an album unless it was autographed or something. I'm sure you could find a copy in a used record store, or better yet, but the cd.
because, like his brother, he is stupid
#134 - On 08/14/2009 at 12:15am by LaceyPatrickson
(0)FYL. I have 'RAM', '1967-1970' on blue vinyl, 'Rubber Soul', a Stones record and a couple other good rock records, and I have a big note on it- 'TOUCH MY VINYLS AND YOU DIE.', because my brother would do this. But, I found 'Let it Be' for $15 at Peddler's Mall, was it autographed? If so, kill him.
(0)oh fuck that sucks the beatles are well... the shit!
