Today, while in class, I noticed that someone had really bad B.O. I was seated next to an extremely ill-mannered girl, so I figured it was her, and thought to myself that if it happened again, I'd tell her off. Once I got home and took off my jacket, I realized it was me. I forgot to put on deodorant. FML

An FML is meant as a stress-reliever, to get a simple screwup off your mind. It's meant for things like this (though I agree it was a bitchy move of the OP to plan on calling her out), not, "Today, I was in a horrible car crash with my wife and two kids in the same car. They were brutally killed by flying debris, while I survived without a scratch. It was my fault. FML". Shit like THAT is just ****ing depressing, which this site isn't meant to be.
