Today, I dropped off a box for my sister at her job. In a rush, I unknowingly parked in a reserved spot. When I got back to my car, I saw that my car was being towed. After successfully flirting myself out of an expensive towing bill, I backed into the pole behind me, leaving a noticeable dent. FML

Next time, try to take the 2 seconds out of your horribly busy day to check and make sure the space you're pulling into isn't reserved. YDI. For one, you can't miss a reserved parking spot. Secondly, you didn't just drop off a box. If there was time to call a towing company and them to be there, you were there a long time. Third, how many times did pretending you were giving out get you out of a jam. And lastly, after all that, you still backed into a pole. I find this very humorous. You definitely deserve it.
dude, this is Maryland, you call a tow truck because someone is in your reserved spot and they are there in minutes!
Towing fee, storage and release in Maryland usually runs above $250. Would not surprise me if this was in Montgomery County either. My apartment complex has reserved spots and when someone parks in them that shouldn't, the tow truck is here within three of four minutes.

Ya know.. last summer my convertible broke down and I had to ride with the AAA dude.
