OP, your story is a real down pour. Wetter you believe it or not, the sun will come out tomorrow and dry those soaked seats. You should dry off and don't let the rain drop your spirit. I am not trying to shower you in too much supportive and encouraging thoughts but your mood seems to be in the gutter.
