Man or woman?

Today, my girlfriend broke up me with for being the "perfect boyfriend". Apparently I'm the best boyfriend she's ever had, and she didn't know how to take it. So she dumped me. FML

I thought you were supposed to tell her that you could kill her at any moment and watch her sleep?

#25 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:54am by glock17wielder

That's when you pull a George Castanza.

"Are you kidding me?"
"What?"
"'It's not you, it's me', that's the reason? If it's anything, it's me, it's always me."
"So wait...you want me to say that it's you?"
"YES! If there's something I've learned, it's always me."
"ok...it's you"
"THANK YOU!"

#78 - On 11/23/2009 at 2:27pm by Reyo

perfect i guess !!!!

#140 - On 11/30/2009 at 12:18am by waqaslone

Sounds made up. She was prolly looking for a reason and couldn't think of anything

#2 - On 11/23/2009 at 2:59am by DynamicDave

Or maybe she dumped him thinking he seems perfect, so whatever's wrong with him must be horrible.

#57 - On 11/23/2009 at 10:18am by AkihiroHattori5

No, I think it is just because girls can be weird emotional bitches at times. Yes, i'm a girl and am apoligizing for all of us. FYL OP, FYL.
but really, get over it and find a girl who appreciates you!

#62 - On 11/23/2009 at 11:28am by rebash09

I agree girls are weird emotional bitches, but Id never apologize for them. Fact is, the breakup was probably VERY rationally thought out and executed.

#83 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:37pm by idkweird

Yes, women and their emotions. Bullshit you misogynist, it's just one dumbass girl who probably just made up the shittiest excuse ever to break up with a guy. Hint OP: There's probably someone else (and by perfect she meant boring).

#87 - On 11/23/2009 at 4:00pm by moonfire

10 truth points to #87.

#97 - On 11/23/2009 at 8:28pm by mattg

#87 so true. my ex was perfict but very boring. we did the same stuff over and over again and when id try to think of something new he would get mad. he gave me the world but i couldnt deal with the boring anymore :)

#111 - On 11/24/2009 at 12:24am by jawzzz978

If he the relationship is indeed boring, he needs to teach that bitch to behave. She wants excitement, tell her to take her ass to the movies. That advice comes from a Pimp named Slickback.

#128 - On 11/26/2009 at 3:04pm by qazi

happens, if you're too perfect it gets boring for them. ironicaly the best strategy is hookup, use, dump, repeat. so much for prince charming. FYL by the way
#2 good point +1

#3 - On 11/23/2009 at 2:59am by Midij19

Nope.. you're right about the boring, but not about the solution.

It's easy: don't be predictable, keep the tension, don't go telling from day #1 that everything is gonna be alright, you're gonna get married & live happily ever after... takes the tension/excitement away!

#31 - On 11/23/2009 at 4:44am by Konerak

Agree with #3 to a point. I used that excuse once, but he wasn’t perfect; he was really nice and so I felt bad about telling him the real break up reason: he was whiney, annoying and pathetic. Eventually I told him the real reason because he said being too nice and not really having a reason…is not a valid reason. Touché.

#39 - On 11/23/2009 at 6:01am by Rayn4u

fuck all of you. get real.

#41 - On 11/23/2009 at 7:04am by vampirate

#31 is an idiot.

Follow #3's advice and everything works itself out.

#49 - On 11/23/2009 at 8:10am by MNSam86

#31 ur right

#112 - On 11/24/2009 at 12:25am by jawzzz978

lololol what a dumb brat..... maybe you need to dive in a large vat of glitter and maybe than shell take you back remember to dapple on chalk all over your face and invest in gold contacts!!
Xp honestly... my kind maybe be great but some of us are just really really low...

#5 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:01am by moon_mistress

By the looks of your picture, you're only 14 or 15 years old... take her childishness as a cue for what to expect for many years to come. It sucks, but you'll come to appreciate her immaturity as means of preparing yourself for future relationships that will actually have substance. Keep your head up!

#7 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:03am by lrb081

Bullshit. She was obviously just looking for a way to get single without hurting your feelings. Hate stupid bitches (and bastards) like that.
"Oh, I don't want to hurt their feelings, so I'll make some shit up, even though I'm dumping them either way and probably making things worse."

Just forget about her. If it is true, she's dumb as a box of rocks, if not she's a giant pansy... and still an idiot.

#8 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:03am by DameGreyWulf

she's crazy. forget her! fyl.

#9 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:06am by pinkthistlepoppy

She dumped with you with underlying reasons of following her urges to date the lowlife badboy, then she'll return to you 10 years down the road and you can tell her to suck it... hard. ;D

#10 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:07am by alexandraa

I, personally, would never go back to any of the guys Ive broken up with. That's just pathetic. There's a reason you broke up with them. I'm all for not rehashing old shit.

#85 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:49pm by idkweird

what a wierdo !
if your perfect, why the f*** would she dump you ?!?!?!??!?!!?!

#11 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:08am by jemma_aussie

Been there. Actually, it was more like this:

"I can't date you anymore. You're so nice, and considerate and you always know the best way to make me smile. You're obviously a liar or cheating on me, no one is that nice."

Paraphrased, of course. Because.. I wouldn't take the time to memorize being dumped by the girl I loved.. for.. loving her..

#12 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:11am by StreetcarProphet

Jesus Christ, what an insecure bitch.
And I am to assume she didn't even try to address this "issue" before dropping you? You're really better off without some crazy idiot for you to waste your time on.

It's actually (cynically) hilarious how often these kinds of things happen. I mean, when you treat people properly and they snap back at you saying that you must have some evil plot against them or something, or will try to keep their distance because they're convinced you'll turn out to be just another asshole.
The world is so paranoid these days. Makes me wonder if being of higher intelligence is all it's cracked up to be; the more aware you are, the more paranoid you get.

#14 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:20am by DameGreyWulf

Actually it doesn't have much to do with intelligence. It has something to do with how our society works. Media and politicians don't want to make you feel happy and secure because it doesn't work for them. It sells less newspapers and doesn't get them votes. That it turns citizens into paranoid zombies who only see risks and dangers everywhere doesn't really matter apparently.

#38 - On 11/23/2009 at 5:41am by The_Great_Zucchi

Been there too, many times. I'd say how many, but it's too many to believe.

#77 - On 11/23/2009 at 2:01pm by forbiddenhero

My ex was nice and considerate and always knew the best way to make me smile. But then it turned out he had been cheating on me. Maybe some girls have reason to be paranoid and irrational?

However, not sure if the OP's ex is one of them, 'cuz that sounds like a pretty stupid reason to break up with someone.

#109 - On 11/23/2009 at 11:32pm by RavishMe77

sounds like Ravishme77 and Streetcarprophet know each other

#117 - On 11/24/2009 at 3:59am by Rivlas

FYL man... I know exactly how you feel... since that's more or less what happened to me... almost the exact same words.

#13 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:19am by maverick1031

She is a fucked up cunt, let someone else deal with her stupidity.

#15 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:26am by BikerMike

what she means is that even though things between the two of you are amazing and would probably evolve in to something spectacular - the idea she has with spending the rest of her life with you isn't matching up with how she depicted living her life at this moment... it's not that she doesn't care about you, it's just that she doesn't want to skip out on things she wants to do in life before finding "true love".

#16 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:27am by andrewms

This is exactly how my last relationship ended...fucking cunt

#17 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:30am by kida510

NOT why she broke up with you. She is trying to make you feel better. There is an alternative reason. I'd bet on it. Still FYL, but you just got lied to. Bet she finds her "next" boyfriend really quick for just having lost the best boyfriend ever. Might even be someone who you thought was just a friend while you were dating.

#18 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:33am by scythefwd

She's cheating on you.

#19 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:35am by nonconscious

#22 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:47am by BurpusMe

yup. thats what happened to me...

#94 - On 11/23/2009 at 7:36pm by tasker

YDI for not being a shitty boyfriend........wait...that's wrong...

goes to prove women want to be treated like shit. shoulda made her make you a sandwhich

#23 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:50am by l0st4lif3

as a woman, i just want to say that i like to be treated well and with respect.

but i do agree with you that a lot of women want crappy boyfriends so they can feel better about themselves, and when they get in a relationship with a "perfect boyfriend" then they feel unworthy.
my boyfriend is fantastic and ive often felt that i dont deserve to date him but then i remind myself that ill never find another one like him. :)

some girls are just so quick to let the good ones go.

#30 - On 11/23/2009 at 4:42am by borabora1991

Slap her & beat her & f*ck her, then maybe she'll want you back. :D

#24 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:50am by Antivirus

Heh, sounds like what happened to me. My girlfriend dumped me for being too nice, and "was too good for her." You might be better off without her. Hope you get over her fast. FYL

#26 - On 11/23/2009 at 4:03am by Hoofin

yah fyl being nice won't get you anywhere with girls. then they wonder why guys are jerks that use them when it's their own fault.

#27 - On 11/23/2009 at 4:07am by jkidder18

If that's the real reason, she probably just felt inferior to you. Which is still stupid :)

#28 - On 11/23/2009 at 4:17am by ChChCharlie

I'd imagine it was along the lines of "you're a perfect guy", not "you're the perfect boyfriend". A girl will break up with you even if they think there's a lot good about you if they find one or two things that don't click with them. So when she said you're the perfect boyfriend, she obviously didn't mean for her.

#29 - On 11/23/2009 at 4:29am by theanonymoose

Best response here!

Reading between the lines, she's cheating on you and doesn't want to let you be the one to dump her because she's sure you will.

#33 - On 11/23/2009 at 4:54am by Nakedsquirrel

Well, her tastes must be pretty bad if she considers an emo such as yourself to be the best she's ever had. Couldn't you just be thankful that you've been ridded of the nutter? This isn't really an FYL; it's actually a blessing in disguise... (unless you really do like 'em strange, in which case, this is really a YDI in disguise).

#34 - On 11/23/2009 at 5:08am by blastvortex

Same shit happened to me. Bitch found another guy a week later. Seems she was just making that up to get on with her new "boyfriend". Fun to know she was dating him while we were together... fyl

#35 - On 11/23/2009 at 5:13am by theturtledude12

Throw the b*tch off a cliff.

#36 - On 11/23/2009 at 5:15am by Erranty

That was just an excuse she told herself. And a lame one, at that.

#37 - On 11/23/2009 at 5:33am by teiso

A) She's an insecure bitch
B) She's lying to you
C) She betrayed you in some way and she can't find any dirt on you,so she uses this excuse to end it

I really don't find this an FML.You got rid of one hell of a loser.

#40 - On 11/23/2009 at 6:30am by alpha_beta

Been there, done that. But, that wasn't the reason I gave him. It was 16 years ago so I dont remember what I told him.. but I do know that he was too perfect for me and I couldn't handle that, I was 16 and not ready to settle down. Five years later tho, all is well. We're married with two kids ;)

#42 - On 11/23/2009 at 7:08am by toomanycats

YDI for being the perfect boyfriend. How could she NOT dump you? You were perfect. You shouldn't have been. Next time take her feelings into consideration.

No, but really, FYL.

#43 - On 11/23/2009 at 7:09am by newsgit

There's definatly something that she's hiding from you. You know, like a different reason that she dumped you and she won't tell you...

#44 - On 11/23/2009 at 7:15am by iheartjustinsane

yeah same thing happened to me, excpet i was the perfect girl friend :/
yeah FYL.

#45 - On 11/23/2009 at 7:22am by Forgetmenot15

"...broke up me with..." You're so perfect? Maybe she realized you have the grammar of a third grader.

#46 - On 11/23/2009 at 7:24am by metal27928

Oh Yes, She totally dumped him over a typo he made on a website, How could you ever love somebody like that! Ewww....

#48 - On 11/23/2009 at 8:03am by Drayon

obviously she just didnt want to hurt his feelings

#47 - On 11/23/2009 at 8:01am by athame1983

haha #2 is a Ginger

#51 - On 11/23/2009 at 9:15am by jourdiebear

obviously shes like every other girl that plays victim and thinks shes not good enough for a good dude. hey i mean you never know, the next guy she dates will probably put her in a battered womens shelter, and the next girl you date will probably appreciate you :D, so eff her life, not yours dear

#52 - On 11/23/2009 at 9:27am by Elleaaa__zyx

She's lying because she's too cowardly to tell you why she really wants to break up with you. I've seen guys and girls do this a million times.

#54 - On 11/23/2009 at 9:41am by ergo

For all of you who're saying that this is fake and stuff, this has happened to me. Unfortunately, there are women among us who are immature and don't know what they want. You and I have both the victims of that OP

#55 - On 11/23/2009 at 9:48am by tothelimit

No one said it was fake. They said the reason was probably a lie. It probably was. No one gets dumped for being too great.

Most guys who get dumped this way are lacking in some areas.

#82 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:33pm by idkweird

dont you know that some girls are just attracted to assholes. young girls are attracted to bad boys and older women look for a stable relationship sometimes with adventure.

#56 - On 11/23/2009 at 10:13am by xoxcinderellaxox

Happened to me too

#58 - On 11/23/2009 at 11:07am by diamondsword

I'll bet she dumped you because your a douche bag because you had the gaul to say "I am the perfect boyfriend" on a website, wow your a fail, get over it.

#59 - On 11/23/2009 at 11:07am by kennisonfire

Ecxuse. Stupid ecxuse, but still an excues. If she would really considered you the best guy ever she would never dumped you.

#60 - On 11/23/2009 at 11:15am by Lenicka

Ive always been one of those girls that has a hard time breaking up with guys. I feel bad. My first bf literally guilted me out of a breakup by crying....worked for like a week. (We were 19 or so at the time)

Truth is, people don't break up with someone because they're "too perfect." They tell them that when the person is so codependent that there is no other way to get rid of them. It feeds their ego while getting rid of them.

I only pull out the "You're too good to me," on whiny bitches. Im all for a sensitive guy, but not when he cries more than I do. That is just a complete turn off and an annoyance. If Im going to date a man, I want him to BE a man, not a little girl. I have literally told a guy (while he was crying because I didn't really want to be with him after a MONTH), "I don't dig crying. It's just, if I dont get all whiny and emo about shit, I don't expect the guy to, either."

And trust me, its not because I need some guy who is an asshole to me, my current boyfriend is amazing. He treats me like a freaking princess, but he also has a backbone and doesn't spend all his time trying to tell me what he thinks I want to hear.

Sorry, OP, but you're probably a creepy co-dependent....

#61 - On 11/23/2009 at 11:26am by idkweird

And lines like "too perfect/good" are what prompts comments such as "women only date assholes" and turns those whiny guys into giant pricks, because they think being good will get them nowhere.

Think a little, fool, and get a spine while you're at it; you want to break up, fucking break up. You don't have to be a bitch about it, but don't let yourself get bulled into making shit up/"sparing their feelings" or staying in a relationship you don't want.

#108 - On 11/23/2009 at 11:20pm by DameGreyWulf

I dont anymore. Im 27 now and have been through a lot more.

#120 - On 11/24/2009 at 11:15am by idkweird

fyl for real. this actually happened to me in my past 2 relationships. girls now adays want the bad boy, the one they can fuck everyday, the one that steals stuff or disrespects their parents...

us good guys have to wait til the girls are late 20'sfucked every guy they could to finally come to their senses and know that we were the one to begin with. it sucks and it's lame!

#63 - On 11/23/2009 at 11:40am by mastershane

*sigh* girls these day especially ones like that that give the rest of us bad names and make perfectly good guys think there is something wrong with them when its not THEM but the girl.

#64 - On 11/23/2009 at 12:07pm by yeahreally

Congratulations! Seriously, she did you a favor. Upgrade your girlfriend: nothing gets you over the last one like the next one.

Good luck.

#65 - On 11/23/2009 at 12:10pm by Oldnslo

Someone so unstable dosent deserve a boyfriend.
Move on.
Not a FML. It would be if she stayed with you.

#66 - On 11/23/2009 at 12:14pm by Grangoire

I'm not a girl, so maybe I can't talk...

But I think a fairly large difference between boys and girls is that girls are much more aware of what actually goes on in their head. I suppose I'm trying to say they're much more aware of what their subconscious is doing than we are. One of the reasons why some girls will never let you get away with "nothing" when they ask what you're thinking about.

In any case, it is entirely possible that she really does think you're the perfect boyfriend, and that this really does have nothing to do with you.

Or, she could just be trying to make you feel better.
OR, she's fallen for someone else.

#67 - On 11/23/2009 at 12:15pm by fiicere

wanna go out?

#68 - On 11/23/2009 at 1:05pm by kira1kira

sometime when we date someone too nice, it makes is feel shit. if u know what I mean

#69 - On 11/23/2009 at 1:08pm by zungg

Shit happens. You being so awesome and seemingly flawless probably intimidated her. She's probably insecure, and feels like she's not good enough, and I'd say it makes her feel worthless and undeserving.

In that case, it /is/ the best thing for you both. You shouldn't date someone who makes you feel inferior- even if they don't mean to. She needs to fix her issues with herself before she dates /anyone/, actually. She obviously has some problems of her own, about herself.

No worries, man.

#70 - On 11/23/2009 at 1:12pm by romaunts

Awwww how sweet

Translation: You're boring.

#72 - On 11/23/2009 at 1:16pm by AmeOwl

Girls don't necessarily want assholes, but we don't want someone who will be absolutely predictable EVERY MINUTE OF THE DAY.

#73 - On 11/23/2009 at 1:19pm by AmeOwl

listen same shit happened to me...with about the same reasoning as well. I don't think because a guy is good that they are predictable. Some are yes, but not all are so AmeOwl chill out, don't be bitter that you are alone. And dude if your girl says that she's probably not the best person to be with...plus if you're so awesome you'll find someone even better.

#74 - On 11/23/2009 at 1:26pm by zackforever

so true #33. I can agree with that because that same exact thing happened to me...

#75 - On 11/23/2009 at 1:32pm by mastershane

Sounds like an excuse for her not being that in to you. Or you have some disgusting habits. She was trying to let you off with out hurting your feelings. Who knows? (but not because you're too perfect. hah! What a load of crap.)

#76 - On 11/23/2009 at 1:44pm by ColdGold

Sorry you had a bad day, but put on your big boy pants and man up! Sounds like she has crappy self esteem issues and she doesn't know how to behave in a real relationship. Count yourself lucky that you found this out now and not after you get married and she starts "acting up" so you can "punish her" for being a "bad girl." Long story short -- she's Trouble with a capital 'T' and you just got a blessing.

Thank God for the easy out and go find yourself a nice girl.

#81 - On 11/23/2009 at 3:21pm by sparxva

#99 - On 11/23/2009 at 8:45pm by wingedtoad

yeah my girl did this to me after i moved to utah for her so that we could be together and then a few months like 3 goes by and then bam she says that im too good for her and that she cant handle it. worst part is she was living with me now im stuck in utah single and well yeah lol all i can say is relationships is over rated highly overrated

#100 - On 11/23/2009 at 8:54pm by salembinx

It's sad how all the good guys get the crappy bitches and all the good girls get the pricky jackasses. Maybe its time to change your selection methods?
P.S: I could use the perfect boyfriend :)

#101 - On 11/23/2009 at 9:15pm by bribold1

it was probably good for u... if she doesn't appreciate u but keeps it in her stomach, u could b frolicking green, grassy hills w/ a girl 2 match ur perfection

#102 - On 11/23/2009 at 9:20pm by playmymusic90

Wanna be my boyfriend? =]

#103 - On 11/23/2009 at 9:31pm by prp11408

youre boring obviously.

#104 - On 11/23/2009 at 9:39pm by rraaee

Sounds like a line to me. Don't take this at face value.

#105 - On 11/23/2009 at 9:41pm by hedgehogs

Just to letya know thats a wicked common excuse for not having a reason for breaking up or having a reason that could hurt u.

#106 - On 11/23/2009 at 10:16pm by kmoney66

it worse when they break up for absolutely no reason, you start looking fir the littlest flaws in yourself

but yea girls are harsh dude u gotta live with it

but anyway my ex didn't appreaciate me AT ALL and when she broke up a shitload of single chicks went after me. so it's win lose win for me Lise fir her xD

#107 - On 11/23/2009 at 11:19pm by sev770

what a dyke! she needs mental therapy help,

#110 - On 11/24/2009 at 12:09am by xoluvinshayxo

I really prefer when a girl tells me a legitimate reason, unlike the blatant lie she told you. Gives me something to improve upon for next time.

#113 - On 11/24/2009 at 12:31am by DallasB

it's not a good excuse, but it could be real. i've had boyfriends like that too. with them being so perfect it makes you feel inadequate. then you start feeling all insecure with yourself like you're never gonna be as good as him.

#114 - On 11/24/2009 at 12:53am by abradant_spoon

I feel for you. I had the same situation.

#115 - On 11/24/2009 at 1:00am by darnesey

That's bullshit. What she means is you're ugly.

#118 - On 11/24/2009 at 7:32am by bugmenotmofo

YDI for lowering going down a class. Stick with your own kind.

#119 - On 11/24/2009 at 7:54am by fjp5009

the lamest excuse for a breakup in the history ..don`t sweat it :) if your that perfect ..you`l find a even better one

#123 - On 11/25/2009 at 11:57am by w00kye

shes been cheating on you and now shes leaving you for the other guy

#124 - On 11/25/2009 at 1:24pm by jickhut

omg that is the lamest excuse ever (does that even make since) maybe she feels guilty 4 cheating on u but if ur so perfect u'll get another 1 easy

#126 - On 11/25/2009 at 11:49pm by tsuta

This is exactly why I won't go out with this guy that I really like. He's too perfect. I can't explain exactly why it makes me NOT want to but it does.

#129 - On 11/26/2009 at 3:40pm by IsumoVamp

Always remember, these is no such thing as the "perfect Girlfriend". They are all lying, cheating whores.

#130 - On 11/26/2009 at 5:07pm by COBRAMORPH

Aww.
She probably has a lot of inner issues.
So it's not your fault sooner or later she's gonna look back at it.
And think i screwed up.
I could of have something perfect or had.
She might just feel like your too good and she's holding you back.
Or she's ashamed of herself.

#131 - On 11/26/2009 at 8:17pm by HmongsterFurry

WTF

#132 - On 11/27/2009 at 2:25am by Ap0Th3

HAHAHA, Ive heard this shit so many times. How girls complain and complain about not having a better boyfriend and how they wish they could find a "good guy" and then when the opportunity rises, they shoot it down like its an STD... Then complain some more and the cycle repeats itself over and over again. Im beginning to believe that atleast 80% of all girls like being treated like shit. Lmao

#133 - On 11/27/2009 at 2:54am by CalamityStriker

Although it's not your fault, there is a way to avoid this next time. You can be good to a girl. You can even be very good to a girl. But apparently you cannot be perfect with them. You have to be a little naughty or bad or evil (EMPHASIS on a LITTLE BIT). That doesn't mean to hit her or something, no, but joke with her, say NO from time to time. (This advice doesn't apply if the girl herself is also perfect. ;-) *Ahem*

#134 - On 11/27/2009 at 11:21am by aeux

i wish that was the reason i would break up with my boyfriend. . . :(

#135 - On 11/27/2009 at 4:56pm by jessicat295

._. isnt it obvious? she's only saying that because she doesnt want to be with you. Tough luck.

#136 - On 11/28/2009 at 6:05am by Lexaklofriet

HAHAHA

#137 - On 11/28/2009 at 12:47pm by Zombi3feast

Stop pleasuring yourself. its pathetic.

#138 - On 11/28/2009 at 3:49pm by TheRetardTracker

Dude this has happened to me, i believe it is pretty common. It turned out to be complete bull shit though, she just found a guy at her school that apparently she liked more than me.

#139 - On 11/29/2009 at 10:29pm by GuitarJunkie6258

# 130, 134. youre right. or they will be.\
how do you not be predictable then?

#141 - On 11/30/2009 at 3:36am by ryderthe8

should have treated her like shit

girls like that !!!

#142 - On 12/01/2009 at 10:10am by kosta007

Ironicly, your right

#143 - On 12/02/2009 at 12:35am by Alphacide

"All Gods require bloodshed" anyone to tell me what quote this is from gets epic points!

#150 - On 12/14/2009 at 10:28pm by GuitarJunkie6258

This happened to me as well. The girl didn't tell me, but she needed to sort out all of her personal sh!t and get over a few things before she could really and truly be with me (without feeling bad about the whole thing). I waited a year between our first and second date, but it was worth it. Now we live together happily and have been together for over 2 years, or 3, if you count that first one ;)

#144 - On 12/02/2009 at 4:32pm by mainedem

She did you a favor.

She's obviously emotionally damaged...

#145 - On 12/05/2009 at 12:21am by davesnothere

okay thats a WTF not a FML
but still wow that sucks

#146 - On 12/05/2009 at 9:24pm by gothchick666

Unless you're a complete ass-kissing doormat, you're probably much better off. She sounds like a lot of women: too stupid to know when they have a good thing. Many women are hell-bent on perpetuating the stereotype that treating them like shit makes them respond favorably to you.

#147 - On 12/06/2009 at 3:21pm by DarthRant

chances are she lied to you, and the real reason is something that would hurt you, like she's seeing someone else.

#148 - On 12/06/2009 at 11:06pm by Drekos

This is more like wtf not fml. lol
What a weird girl. lol

#149 - On 12/06/2009 at 11:30pm by zgirl3229

Girls hate flawless guys if you actually never noticed. It makes them feel worthless and like they are nothing comapred to you.

#151 - On 12/23/2009 at 10:46pm by ananma

I thing him being so "good" made her insecure

#152 - On 01/01/2010 at 4:08pm by jpest17

if women can't control their emotions how can they be equal to men?

#153 - On 01/01/2010 at 4:10pm by jpest17

That is jacked up! I mean really she must have met someone else or something and just is a really shity breaker upper. LOL sorry man that sucks!

#154 - On 01/04/2010 at 12:24am by Brittan

yoo holy shit this same shit has happened to me. my girl broke up with me 2wice in the first month and nearly another time in the second month of our relationship. she felt she wasn't sure about being so happy about someone and it scared her. we've been together though for 2 years now. either go get her back with your "perfectness" or realize there's a different reason but man I feel what your going through
