I'm guessing that the "at least 5 minutes" is an exaggeration because the OP was annoyed with what the boyfriend did. However, if something like that isn't her thing, then it's probably a sign that the relationship won't last too long. Spontaneous bursts of cute/random/slightly weird things are something you have to be OK with if you plan to be in a relationship for the long haul.
The poster made a big show of saying "my husband" and dropping her age, trying to show some sort of superiority to others. Marriage at a young age really doesn't mean anything. Being married does not make you more mature, more responsible, and more aware of social nuances. She also fails in her attempt to be "mature" by greatly overusing ellipses and using the word "retarded" to describe an action she dislikes. Very, very mature. Sure, I may swear up a storm and combine some profane words into twisted and insulting phrases when I felt they've done something stupid, but I mostly do that to get a rise out of folks. Using "retarded" is a cheap, easy way out when a person doesn't have any other way to criticize something.

This kind of behaviour can be cute, but not when the boyfriend is clingy. It makes it horrible and really awkward to be with them. I can only guess that the OP posted this because she was really creeped out by his behaviour.

wow, so, I'm half expecting to get my comment so heavily voted negative that it gets buried, just because I don't agree with most of the people here. (it just happens)
I don't think this is quite an FML because it's more like an "awkward" moment. BUT I DON'T AGREE that OP sucks or anything like that. It's all perspective, of course, so what may seem cute to one person may seem clingy to another person. This is just one of those examples where couples kinda miss each other's intent or idea... it's comparable to how a couple deals with a one-sided fetish... except in this case, the "fetish" (not that I'm calling it a fetish, I'm simply referring to the equivalent action of contention) is more popularly seen as a "cute" thing rather than disturbing compared to how most people may consider things like diaper play or other things like that. now, I know he was trying to be cute and appeal to her, I'm sure, but maybe that just isn't her thing and maybe she just thinks it's weird. that's her prerogative and their relationship (if it still exists) would either work out the difference of opinion or not. She's not necessarily being a bitch for having a difference in consideration for the action.
some people like PDA, some people don't. Some people like celebrating 1-month anniversaries, some don't. Some people like kissing on the first date and some people don't.
oh, and FML doesn't necessarily have to mean that things that call for an FML are "end-of-my-world-omg-this-sucks-so-hard" it could just be a simple alternative to the ever-versatile "oh f*ck..."
My boyfriend is a joker, but I don't think he'd pretend to chew on my hair for 5 minutes. That and he's not clingy to the point where if we're cuddling I can't stand up to go do something. I mean it's not as if she said she was going to leave.
Though it's also all in perspective. I'm older and a mom. Sometimes our cuddles are cut short because one of our children have a nightmare.
I seriously doubt that you guys would have the same reaction if this were from a guy's perspective.

It's slightly uncalled for to have 99% of the commenters attacking the OP. It's NOT cute after the first few seconds, but I highly doubt a chick is going to sit and giggle at how "cute" it is to have her boyfriend grasp onto her for FIVE MINUTES pretending to eat her hair.
Could be worse. I tried to get up once, my bf grabbed me, I fell over and faceplanted the floor. My glasses cut into my face and got bent out of shape and I had to go get them fixed with a cut eyebrow and the slightly glazed look I get when I can't see properly. Stop complaining!
