Thanks for noticing

Today, my long-distance boyfriend was at my house for a 10-day visit. He told me that we'd never spent so much time together, so he didn't know me well and now, he'd finally met the "real me". He doesn't like it. FML

Honestly, long distance relationships are hard. A similar situation happened with me and my bf, but we worked through it - not that we didn't like each other, but we fell off the pedestal. It happens in every relationship, but it's worse in long distance.

I feel your pain. Happened to me. 10 day visit, dating for 4 months. After day 6, he just kind of ignored me.

this sounds like an internet relationship...not a long distance one.....

I don't really get this It happens a lot in long distance relationships And he probably didn't say it in that blunt words In fact, it happens even in non-long distance relationships

Dang. Harsh. Don't worry though, OP, you'll find someone someday 8D

YDI for having long distance bf

So? My bf lives 5 hours away, and we text basically all day every day, and when he comes over, I always spend the whole time with him, AND if I ever ask him to, he'll come rite down to c me. Long distance relationships aren't hard if u really luv eachother.

#37, you don't really get to tell people if they love each other or not thanks

5 hours is a bit easier than other cases....mine lives 14 hours away...so he just cant come on down whenever i feel...and we both work a lot..so it makes it hard to talk....but ya..its possible to work thru if they are worth it...but it is NOT easy

Wow at least your bf/gf is only hours away.... mine is Ontario and i'm in Alberta lol But I've known her for 4ish years and only recently asked her out so I think it's all good =D

Well what if your really in love and one of you is forced to move away ? It's not that easy to break up, eh

then don't break up -- doofus. keep it working even if you are on opposite sides of the world.

14 hours... That really isn't a long distance relationship, considering you can actually see eachother on weekends if you really cared. Try dating someone who lives 9 hours away by plane.

Not a ydi but not really a fyl imho... this is why you need to meet people and frankly it's nothing to do with you being a bad person but you can't be sure you'll really click irl till you meet.

I met my wife that way, so it can work out. :) it'll be ok, get you a new aoler! a real hacker this time.
