Agreed 100%, it's mostly a US and religious thing. In Europe / Asia, it's much more rare. I think people are turned off by the hype they hear. If people don't clean their dicks, that's their problem, not a problem of being uncircumsized. There are pros and cons to both sides. Some say sex is more comfortable with uncircumsized dicks and less lube is needed. I'm not really here to debate that though.
IMHO, OP, instead of having your current attitude, I would go after her and disprove the stereotype :)

Getting Circumsized means the guy gets the extra flab of skin cut off his dick normally at a young age. Being uncircumsized means they didn't get the falp of skin cut off so it's still there. Circumsized dicks are cleaner and look better.

Dicks that are circumsized are normally cleaner and look better. Dicks that aren' circumsized are more likely to be dirtier and have disesases (I'm saying just STD's) but since the extra flab of skin is there a lot of guys don't clean UNDER it so all the dirt and sweat from daily life build up there too just like any other part of the body so if they aren't cleaned regularly and throughly then it's just dirty and can carry diseases. I prefer Circumsized guys but w/e it's a choice sorta.
I do think he shoulda said no though because yeah sometimes following along with a joke is fun if people know you were joking though. I doubt she thought it was a joke so now she really thinks that the guy's not circumsized and apparently she doesn't think "uncut" dicks are attractive.

If I were to have a son I would not be having his done. You can have it done as an adult and he can do that later if he so chooses.

why the hell would you want to be circumsized....circumsision is an outdated practice. The reason the people back 70 80 years or so got circumsized, was either for hygene reasons or religion related. Okay, look; there are reasons to *not* get circumcised. First, it either happens as a baby (no consent possible), or as an adult (hurts like hell, because it's so damn sensitive). Second, I've gathered that it feels better with the foreskin. That's because of the third reason, which is that the penis stays moist/doesn't dry out. I notice that nobody here says *anything* about female circumcision of any kind.

Ok, so I really wish people would actually become EDUCATED about circumcised and uncircumcised penises before they sit here saying all this crap (not talking about everyone, obviously).
First off, the reason circumcision became popular was waaay back in time people were not able to shower whenever they wanted, so it was more "risky" if that's what you'll call it. (And, of course, for religious reasons). It can be considered "outdated" as someone said, because now we have the ability to wash when ever we want.
Second off, the head of the penis is the exact same thing as a clitoris, just put together in different ways. Don't believe me? Take any anatomy or human sexuality class.
Third, when the foreskin is cut off, vital nerves are being severed, therefore males who are circumcised feel less pleasure. I'm not kidding. They also feel less pleasure because, just like a female's clitoris, if it is exposed too much, it becomes even more desensitized.
Fourth, someone said something about female circumcision/mutilation? Circumcision is the male equivalent to it. Odd thing is, female circumcision/mutilation of any kind is illegal in almost every country around the world.
Fifth, circumcision is only popular now because people are obsessed with being "normal". Because so many other people do have circumcisions, now people who don't (not all, but I'm willing to bet a significant number) feel very insecure BECAUSE of ignorant people like the ones in the OPs story.
