"she didn't even have the decency to fake it?" Are you serious? Faking it isn't decency, it's lying. It's pretending someone is doing the right thing when they really aren't. All that will come of her faking it is him continuing to do the same wrong thing.

If she didn't like what he was doing, she should have have given him some direction. Communicating isn't that difficult.
