This is both my all-time favorite FML and not a FML at all. I would start cracking up and follow him! It's so depressing when people lose their inner child. If anything, it'd be a FML because you seem to have lost your inner child. Be glad you've got an enthusiastic boyfriend who gets excited over stuff like that. That's cute.
Maybe the ice cream truck is just more exciting for me because I lived in the country, so the only time I could enjoy the ice cream truck was when I hung out with friends who lived in town. And even then it was fairly rare to actually get it.
