Today, I'm insanely hungover from a long night of drinking. I'm going to my nephew's baptism in an hour as his godmother. FML

I have nothing against having drinks once in awhile but if u knew you had a big responsibility why did you do it? Especially when ur supposed to be setting a good example for you nephew as his godmother.

Any FML starting with,"I'm insanely hungover" is an automatic YDI.

Aw, OP, I'll be your friend. Let's hang out and watch MLP together.

They're being too nice to you OP. You're an irresponsible jerk.

what made her a jerk? Irresponsible yes, but we don't know she is a jerk.

43. jerk for showing up hungover at a baptism.

perdix 29

#46, of course, you may, the more bronies the merrier. Pegasisters are welcome, too.

Perdix the guy that had the wife beaters at the jukebox there?

OP, You do know that baptisms don't include bachelor/bachelorette parties right?

Hopefully the poor kid is too young to remember.

57: I'm not really a brony, more of a "pony fan," but I'll watch too.

At least you will be making a great impression.

YDI because if you knew you had somewhere important to be, you shouldn't have gotten drunk the night before.

It's not your fault, the world needs a sarcasm text/font.

She definitely had some spirit in her last night.

Just toss back a little of that holy water. Evil spirits, I command you leave the body of this woman! ( get it? spirits??)

This is why I don't plan to drink alcohol unless it's for church services alone. I'm afraid of losing control with that stuff as a pleasurable drink -.-

You don't automatically get insanely hungover the moment you drink. Most people can handle one or two and be fine, it's all about knowing your personal limit. Not trying to make you drink, just don't be afraid of it :)

You have to have this thing called "self control"! I didn't have it, that's why I no longer drink!

30 If it is his first time one drink could do it...

KVKdragon's 19 so it's probably good he doesn't wanna drink yet.

Hey you guys, even Jesus drank wine! As long as you can say, "One glass and that's it," it's okay. (Or of course, know your personal limit.) I'm not legal drinking age and I never plan to get drunk. I don't like the idea of being drunk and I definitely do not want to deal with hangovers. Alcohol isn't an evil thing by any means. It's the person who misuses it that is bad, like OP here.

61 I've told that to someone who preached alcohol was bad.. She got real pissy and didn't end well.. She has'nt been preaching since tho..

KVKdragon 26

Never in my comment does it say alcohol is evil or vile. I just don't want to lose control like the OP. I'm just giving myself that expectation since I'm already addicted to chocolate lol

Laurenlou 24

Sorry 68! I didn't mean to imply that you thought alcohol was evil! I was just throwing that out there! 63- Wow, someone should have read her Bible more. That's an interesting story.

You should have thought of that before you went drinking.

YDI. If you knew that the next day would be an important occasion, why would you consume that much?

Hey maybe the kid will get a hilarious story for the rest of his life (it's not funny yet but...)

I can't vote FYL on this... this is just a YDI.
