You must be kidding
Today, I went into work thinking it was my last day before I start my new job, as my 2-week notice said to the managers that I can't work after today. None of them believed that I was actually capable of getting a better job and thought my 2-week notice was a joke. FML

And that's when you moon-walk out the door while giving them a parting wave in the form of a one-finger salute.

I don't understand why this is your problem and not theirs? Don't show up and enjoy your new job.

You better chuck the deuces & skip your happy ass out of there when it's time to clock out!

That's their problem, not yours.

My last job tried this. On my second last day, they'd yet to post the next schedule and the assistant manager told me that I hadn't given enough notice (I gave them a week, and it was retail. And they'd lost my respect). My response is summed up as tough shit. And a note about how I'm not required by law to give +2 weeks notice and a couple other spots where they're violating the labour laws. The next day the new schedule was up. And the day after that, I started my new job

I told my boss that I had applied for a much higher-paying job at a different company. He looked at me and said "I've known people who worked there. They're a lot smarter than you." Joke was on him. Got the job and have kept it for 30 years.
