Today, I finally stood up to a bully who had been messing with me for over a year. His response? He picked up the chair I was sitting in and threw me across the room. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, after years of torment and relentless harassment, I finally built up the courage to stand up to a bully. I got a detention for swearing at him. FML
Today, I finally stood up to the guy who's been bullying me for the last 2 years. Even though he's been caught in the act several times, he never gets punished, so I figured I'd get away with gut-punching him. Nope. An hour later, I was suspended from school. FML
Today, I finally stood up for myself and beat the crap out of a bully at school, as my father told me to do. The kid and I were called to the principal's office, along with our parents. Inside my father's smirk faded when he saw that the kid's mom was his boss. FML
Today, I finally confronted my bully. Too bad it was at my high school reunion and he beat the shit out of me. FML
Today, I finally worked up the nerve to quit my job after being tortured by my boss for months. My boss responded by throwing a hardcover textbook at me and hitting me in the face. FML
Today, I fought back with words against a bully. He cried, and I got detention. FML
Today, I finally decided to stand up for myself and quit my crappy job working for my abusive father. I gave him a few insults too, to which he reacted by calling the police and claiming I'd threatened to murder him. I spent three hours in jail before they finally let me go. FML
Today, I bumped into a guy I bullied for years at a bar. He was actually cool and laughed about it, but my stupid drunk ass kept urging him to hit me because I felt bad about it. We went outside and he thrashed me. At least we're friends now, I guess… FML
Today, I finally had it with the redneck bully who's been tormenting me. He was repeatedly poking and pinching me and laughing out loud during class, so I slung him to the ground, pinning him. I got suspended. They only called his parents, who never do anything; my "caring" parents are looking into teen boot camp. FML
Today, I bullied a kid at school, just so someone would talk to me. FML

I was bullied horribly, and you know what I did? Realized that grade school/high school is just a small part of my life that wouldn't matter later. And I was right. Two years into grad school, and I'm a perfectly functioning adult who understands that kids - gasp, surprise - aren't always the smartest or most empathetic bunch. I know it sucks. A lot. And I hated it while it was happening. But you have two choices - either be the bigger person and understand this won't matter forever, or be a bitter, obsessed person forever.

Thats bullshit. Don't take that from anyone man. You can't get through life getting the shit kicked out of you, being a doormat. You have to retaliate, or at least stick up for yourself. Don't use a weapon or anything, that just makes you look like a fool. Don't bring your friends. Don't run to the teacher, waht does that teach you? To run away and count on other to deal with your problems? I hate that about the schools nowadays, all the teachers saying "Just look them in the eye, plant your feet and say 'Leave me alone!' they will respect you." No they won't you will get bloodied up. Hit the guy before he hits you, and hit him hard. Next time he comes at you, by himself, be just outside his arm's reach, and when he makes a move, kick him in the gut/nuts and then when he bends over, put a right/left hook to his temple. If that doesn't stun him or at knock him down, run like hell and go do some push-ups. But don't take that from anyone man. It's better to be brusied and bloody on the outside rather than bursting on the inside. People will respect you if you stand up to someone bigger, and you will respect yourself. You might want to try taking Judo, of all the martial arts that I know have some experience with, its most helpful in a street fight.

Holy shit man a guy's beating you up? Be nice to him, pretend to become his friend or something and then when he doesn't expect it, knock him down with your car or push him in front of a truck or something.
