Today, we got our daughter's birth certificate. Turns out my husband thought it would be funny to give her a middle name, which we never discussed, and he picked one to sound funny. Not actually going to tell the internet her name, but it’s as bad as calling a boy Ben Dover. I’m furious. FML

Today, I told my family that I wanted to change my last name to my future wife's. We want to have the same last name, and we chose hers because she is an only child, while I have three brothers. Half of my family is laughing and calling me "pussy whipped" while the other half won't speak to me. FML

Its a fairly common name but it is hilarious if you're american its not to bad a name but the names got a different meaning in other english speaking countries that are a bit worse...

As an American I agreed that it would be cruel to name a child Fanny, and that was before I learned what it's slang for in the UK and Australia! Why would a woman intentionally do that to her own daughter?
