Today, the person who bullied me throughout my childhood eventually resulting in me going to therapy and switching schools became my boss. On top of that, he refers to me by the insulting nickname he called me during childhood. It's good to see that growing up hasn't changed him at all. FML

This just makes a good opportunity for the two of you to sort out the problems you had back in the day. Your bully may have matured and grown up to be a great person; obviously they had what it takes to become your manager, so I wouldn't jump to assumptions that they'll continue to treat you the same way they did as when you were kids.
