She probably doesn't understand the differences in beliefs between Judaism and Christianity (or possibly Catholicism). Some people just assume that because both religions believe in God that they share other beliefs as well. I'm sites he meant well! Ask your fiancé if he could explain the differences to her kindly, as well as why you can't wear it, but appreciate the sentiment (and u say to have him, so that you don't seem ungrateful to her).
