Today, my cat decided to use my bowl of rice krispies as his litter box. FML

true. and the reason why is my son decided to block the opening to the litter box and the cereal looked like his litter. can't get made about that

possible reasons: 1) the cereal was left in the open unattended with the cat there long enough to have this happen (not saying this is my opinion, just what i read) 2) this could mean the litter box wasnt clean, forcing the cat to do its business elsewhere
