Today, my boyfriend proposed to me at the zoo. With a Ring Pop. He was serious. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, my boyfriend proposed to me by tossing the ring at me and saying "Here, wear this." FML
Overconfident
Today, my boyfriend of five days proposed to me at the mall. FML
Selected
Today, I went out with my family and boyfriend for dinner. We were all having a good time, when suddenly at the end of dinner he gets down on one knee, takes out an engagement ring, and says, "I choose you, Pikachu," with a straight face. He was serious. FML
So romantic
Today, my boyfriend proposed to me by handing me a ring and saying, "Let's get this dumb shit over and done with." FML
Today, my boyfriend proposed to me during a funeral. FML
Today, I decided to pop the question to my beloved. Perfect lighting, fresh cut roses, a fancy dinner. The restaurant was in on it too. Shame they brought out the wedding-themed congratulations dessert before I actually went down on my knee. FML
Today, I was out with my boyfriend, when he started browsing wedding rings. He found a ring, proposed to me right there in front of a crowd, and then was promptly denied a payment plan. We left without a ring. FML
The Hulk
Today, my very cheap boyfriend of four years proposed. I was overwhelmed with emotion, since he bought such a huge, seemingly-diamond ring. I was later overwhelmed with emotion when my finger turned green. FML
Upon reflection
Today, my boyfriend of six years proposed to me. Less than three hours later, he panicked and made me give the ring back. FML
Perfect date
Today, my boyfriend of three years proposed to me. He brought me to our favorite restaurant and ordered expensive champagne. It was all very romantic, until he got on one knee and I farted out of surprise. Loudly. FML

I think it's cute and I agree with everyone that it was probably a spontaneous decision of his. My husband proposed without a ring...I said yes and then he asked me whether I wanted to pick my own ring or have him pick one out for me...I told him that I wanted him to pick it out and once he had done that he took me to the place he had proposed at and asked me again, this time with the ring. Whenever I tell that story people think it's cute...I actually preferred my proposal to all those cliché proposals with a nice fancy dinner and the ring in the champagne glass or the cake or whatever...

I'd be all over that! Diamonds are boring, for one thing. For another thing, the zoo is awesome, as are ring pops.

That's cute, I'm sure he'll give you a real ring some time, if he doesn't then.. leave him.

Really? Leave the love of your life for a silly piece of metal and stone? Why is love measured in the ring?

It's because today's world is filled with materialistic moronic sheep.

What are you guys complaining about? I leave EVERY boyfriend who doesn't buy me something expensive. jk

That's would be cute if he was kidding around if you said yes been like "Would you really?" and pull out a real ring. Maybe if it was completely spontaneous? I'm on the fence about it.

You sound like a superficial materialistic bitch, be happy ANYONE asked you to marry them.

That's adorable. Should it really matter if it was a ringpop? i think it's sweet. I'll take your place, he's obviously a nice guy.

I'd actually love that. I think you've had a high dosage of superficial b*tch today. If you didn't say yes because of the proposal even if he's a good guy, then YDI

Its not like he's going to give you a ring pop on your wedding day. I think it's adorable. Go him. You fail
