Today, I went for a job interview I scheduled 3 weeks ago. I spent $200 on a new suit to really impress them and practised like crazy every imaginable question they could ask. They already had filled the position 2 weeks ago and forgot to inform me. FML

Today, I had a job interview that I had spent hours preparing for it. When I arrived, the interviewer told me the position had been filled already and they forgot to notify me. I wasted a whole fucking day for nothing. FML

Today, I showed up on time for a job interview. After waiting for about three hours, I was informed that the manager had "better things to do" than interview me. FML
Today, I was kicked out of a job interview at a clothing store for "not dressing appropriately" for the occasion. I'd purchased my outfit from the same store just two days prior with my last $100. FML

I've been there. I even had a recruiter for a rather nice software company seek me out and actually FILL the position while in the phone interview with me. Just save the suit for the next big interview.

I hate it when shit like that happens. I went in for a job interview awhile back and was told that they had filled the position. They just didn't want to take the time to call back everyone so they were telling us as we showed up for our interviews. And I am sure that they just had a TON of people to call back for a staff therapist position... really? Are there a hundred other therapist in my town who want to leave their practice? Some places of business are just ******* lazy.

I'm still here, but my work got smart and blocked FML. I can attest to it's addictive nature. It's less effective to participate using my iPhone on the 3G network (yeah, the Wi-fi is filtered, too), but I do try my best. I miss Witchcraft and XOfiestypixie :(

Oh, snick, I use Safari on the iPhone to get to FML. There are no apps I know of that include the Private Messages. That's just about my favorite feature! Our computers at work are so locked down, we can't install any apps. Hell, we can't even change our screen saver! WTF?

Perdix, they have us locked down also. I use my Kindle, it is a little slow but I can tap it over to the dictonary or related material in a flash. No bosses at night but I don't want my crew to see me screwing off. At least the screen is bigger than my touch.
