Today, I was sent to the principal's office because I refused to take my earbuds out. Those "earbuds" are my hearing aids. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Back 2 school
Today, I got suspended for bringing a "hazardous weapon" to school. They were earrings. FML
He's the boss
Today, I lost my earbuds on the subway to work, so I had to listen to my boss's terrible music all day. FML
Leave me alone
Today, I got yelled at for having a set of headphones around my neck at all times, because it "makes me seem disinterested." Two things: 1. I have established myself as a very good listener among my peers; 2. I'm autistic, so I need the headphones readily available at all times to cope with loud environments. FML
Today, I was taken to the principal's office and bitched out about the dangerous weapon I brought to school. The "weapon" was a pocket fan. FML
Looking good
Today, I was excited about showing everyone at work my new piercing. It's in an interesting place in my ear, and it's not that common. Before I had the chance to tell anyone about it, someone asked, "Are you wearing a hearing aid?" FML
Today, after telling my boss about my hearing problem, she simply told me to "listen harder". FML
Loud and unclear
Today, my hearing aids got wet because i was caught in the middle of a thunderstorm. So they stopped working. I didn’t hear this morning's alarm because I can’t hear the alarm without my hearing aids. FML
Noise annoys
Today, I wore out yet another set of headphones. This is the third one in a year. I need my headphones whenever I go outside because I have sensory processing disorder, and a multitude of hearing disorders that painfully enhance my hearing. Guess I'm stuck at home until I can buy pair number four. FML
Today, I went to work as a home health-aid, and found out that my client turns his hearing aid off on purpose because he can't stand my voice. FML
Earache
Today, I asked my boss for a couple of days off to recover from a nasty ear infection which has left me hard of hearing. However, he didn't understand why that would affect my job and refused. I work in a telephone call centre. FML

What did the principle say? Talk to your teacher about her behaviour, and if she does anything like this again, report her.

As soon as you get to the principals office, follow these intructions until they figure it out for themselves.

Why are you still in school if you're in the U.S?

Seriously? Your teacher is a complete idiot. I hope your principle put her/him in their place.

I would just take em out and if they got mad at you just tell them that it's their fault

I have hearing aids too so I'm required to sit in front in all my classes.. My hearing aids are programed to adjust to the volume setting of the class... I still get yelled at by teacher(s) for "not listening" when when I ask for them to repeat what they said or when I ask the person who I'm sitting by what have been said.

Hearing people think that hearing aids will magically cure your hearing. They help, thus the aid part but you still might have problems.

Obviously this is fake cause I don't think people go to school in early July
