Today, I was running late for work. My windshield had completely frozen over. I didn’t have anything to dissolve the ice..except some coffee I had made 30 minutes earlier. I decided to dump my coffee on my windshield. Instead of dissolving the ice, the creamer froze on entire windshield. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, the windows on my car were frozen. I filled up a bucket of hot water, and threw it on the windows. The windows cracked. FML
Today, the roads were OK, so I cleaned the ice and snow off my car so I could go out. I rolled my window down a little bit while I was driving to clear the snow off the base of the window. A chunk of ice flew off my hood, in through the window, and hit my eye. I then hit a snowbank. FML
Today, during a snowstorm, I opened my car door to get out. The wind snapped it wide open, then immediately changed course and swung it back at me just as I stepped out, spilling an entire hot cup of coffee all over me. FML
Slow down
Today, I woke up late for work. In my rush to make a quick cup of coffee, I forgot to put a mug under the machine. I came back a few minutes later to a kitchen counter flooded with coffee and had to clean it up, making me even later. To top it off, I was out of coffee. FML
Today, I looked outside and I saw that my new car had been snowed on. Sadly the snow had frozen onto the car, so I spent the entire day getting it off. I came inside. By 8pm, my car had snow all over it again, and this time I left the window open. FML
Haste
Today, I was running late for work and I was carrying my stuff to my car, handbag over my shoulder, laptop in one hand, and my coffee in the other. As I tried to unlock my car, I spilt the coffee all over myself, the car, and my laptop. Now, I’m sticky, wet, and my laptop won't turn on. FML
WAKE UP IT'S MONDAY MORNING!
Today, I was running late for work so I grabbed my coffee to go. I was rushing down the stairs when I stumbled a bit and spilled the entire cup of coffee all over myself. I had to go back up, change clothes, and was still late. The kicker? It was decaf. FML
Today, my city got almost a foot of snow. When I went out to my car, it was covered in snow with a layer of ice underneath. I went to open the trunk to get the window scraper, when the snow that had collected on the top of my back window slid into my trunk. My laptop was the recipient of most of the snow. FML
Today, I spent an hour in a snowstorm waiting for my bus to show up. After I got fed up, I decided to just clean off my car and drive to work. After I was halfway finished swiping off the snow and ice stuck to my car, the bus drove right past me. FML
Today, I discovered I'd left my coffee on top of my car when it fell through the sun roof whilst I was driving, showering me. FML

You're lucky the heat didn't shatter the windshield.

Just for clarification, I had tried pouring two bottles of water on beforehand. That didn’t work, and my coffee was already cold by the time I had poured it. I don’t own an ice scraper, I was in a rush and didn’t know my car would be frozen over that morning. It’s also a long walk to get back to my place. My defrost also doesn’t work. I was headed to my new job and couldn’t risk being late.

Well pouring anything hot on an already frozen over windshield you run the risk of shattering your windshield. Buy some defrost can spray, you can find them in auto part sections in any stores or in an auto part stores. The defrost spray works pretty well to make ice melt faster when you’re on an limited time.

water isn't going to help you either

It would’ve been faster (and hilarious) if you licked the windshield clean.

It’s faster than having to go to cleaning to remove the coffee when you can’t drive the car but it’s a lot slower and more dangerous than heating it up together with defrost

no rubbing alcohol, vodka, vinegar, hand sanitizer. Nothing... hell even a credit card.... even if you have an ice scrapper there are ways to get rid of ice without sacrificing coffee. or maybe just put a plastic trash bag over your widow at night and pull it off in the morning.

You know it's really nice that people invented these things called ice-scrapers, so that we don't have to throw coffe at our windshields anymore...
