Today, I turned 22, without anyone wishing me a happy birthday. In fact, the only phone call I received all day was from my brother. He wanted to borrow money. FML

Today, it's my 25th birthday. I closed at work, not one person wished me happy birthday, no calls or letters from my family. Even my boyfriend of 3 years didn’t remember. FML
Today, it's my 21st birthday. All my friends and family said they were busy so I figured I was getting a surprise party. Nope. They all were actually busy. I spent my birthday alone. FML
Today, it was my birthday. My family usually gives me a financial gift, but didn't this time and said nothing about it. I cooked my own birthday dinner without help, then washed everyone's dishes. I got my own cake and ate it alone because they were too busy getting drunk. Nobody bothered to sing Happy Birthday either. FML
Today, I was upset because my brother, who I'm very close to, didn't call me for my birthday yesterday. I told my mom about it, and we both immediately went silent on the phone, as we both realized she forgot to call me yesterday as well. FML
Today, I turned 22. Instead of cutting my own cake, I stood by and smiled at a friend's belated birthday party. Her birthday was actually two months ago, but she decided to have her party on my birthday. No one remembered mine but everyone got her beautiful gifts. FML
Today it's my twin brother's and my birthday, and like every year people wish him a happy birthday instead of me. FML
Today, it was my birthday. Nobody said anything, not even my Facebook friends, who probably got a notification about it. FML
Today, it's my birthday, none of my friends wished me a thing. I spent the whole day crying and then decided to call few of them and sobbingly demanded an explanation. Most of them didn't pick up, the rest called me a drama queen, saying that my birthday isn't as important as I think. FML
Today, it's my 21st birthday. I got a call from my deadbeat dad, who I thought had finally mellowed and had something nice to say. Nope; he just told me I'm 21 years a disappointment, then hung up. FML
Today, it was my birthday. None of my family members wished me a happy birthday and neither did the 1,000+ "friends" I have on Facebook either. FML

That happened to me on my 16th birthday... except nobody asked me for money lol turns out though that everyone was ignoring me on purpose for a surprise party later on. I don't wanna get your hopes up, but MAYBE that's why? Do you have a facebook and if so is your birthday posted? That helps a lot lol Have a great birthday and don't let it get you down cause there are clearly a lot of people here on FML that care to wish you :)

Welcome to Adulthood. My last (20th) birthday, I had to work a 13 hour shift, so it isn't all that bad. My cake was a donut with a candle which was actually just a toothpick that was set on fire.

Wow, same birthday and age as me. If it helps, happy belated birthday. I got nothing to; my only family, my Mom, went on holiday the day before. Didnt even mention my birthday. Despite being on the birthday list at work, and 'donating' £30 a year for staff birthday presents, noone even wished me a happy birthday. I took a cake in; people just took a slice, and left in complete silence. So yeah. Happy Birthday.

That's all right. For my nineteenth birthday, I didn't even get a text from my brother. I'd texted him first thing in the morning since I was usually at work before he woke up. We're twins.
