I've had that happen to me. It's pretty difficult to tell the difference, better safe than sorry.

They could just be wrong. When I went to hospital with severe abdo pain t they said it was constipation then 2 weeks later they found a cyst on my ovary the size of a basketball.

In Local TV news to day a good local neighbor helps her neighbor to poo to relieve of the pain.

Well, at least you're the best neighbour ever, and you're always better off if you go to the hospital just in case (better safe than sorry). Almost the exact opposite happened to me - I was begging people to take me to the hospital because of stomach pain and everyone kept waving me off. Even the doctor assumed I was either faking or over-reacting to severe constipation (I was only 15) when I finally got there, and after waiting almost six hours ALONE writhing in pain and in and out of consciousness, sweating and shaking and EVENTUALLY throwing up, the doctor decided to do some tests "just to be safe" because of elevated heart rate and other symptoms besides my "alleged pain", and sure enough, my appendix had already burst. I've never seen my doctors/nurses move to fast to get me into the OR after they found out, lol! Never did get an apology though.

Im sure your neighbour is grateful you were able to help them and get them to the hospital...I sure as hell dont have anyone who would help me. That being said, you say youre a health care professional, and you are on here complaining for having to wait 6 hours to find out she needed to poo - god knows what goes through your head when youre with your clients/patients. Be grateful it isnt any more serious..Im sure your neighbour is.

Hi Guys! OP here :) Thanks so much for your kind comments. I really appreciate it. I had only met her about 3 weeks before the incident and we only hung out once or so. Actually, she wasn't apologetic about it, nor was she grateful. It was almost as though she expected me to take her there... Or perhaps she was just embarrassed.

Is she blonde? She sounds blonde.
