Today, I was going to have a phone interview for an amazing internship opportunity. It was supposed to take place at 11AM. It’s now 1:30PM. My phone calls and concerned email have gone unanswered. FML
Today, I showed up on time for a job interview. After waiting for about three hours, I was informed that the manager had "better things to do" than interview me. FML
Today, I had a job interview. I got there as quick as I could, having to travel two hours into a city I'd never been to. When I arrived, they told me I was turned down for being too late. They'd rescheduled the interview an hour earlier and I wasn't notified of the change. FML
Today, I had an interview scheduled for 10:05. When I got there, someone was talking to them, so I sat down to wait. Little did I know this wait would be 45 minutes. I got told to go home and that I'd be rescheduled. FML
Today, an interviewer kept me waiting for 20 minutes at reception, then marked me "late" in his feedback. FML
Today, I was supposed to having the interview for which I'd been preparing for the past week. I join and 5 minutes later, some guy joins, just to tell me that there's been some technical issue and the interview will be rescheduled. FML
Today, I drove two and a half hours to a job interview. The interviewer never showed up or called. I sat in the hotel lobby waiting for an hour and a half. Even the hotel staff said they felt sorry for me. FML
Today, I woke up early for a job interview. I got lost and arrived an hour late, only to find out it was the wrong day. FML
Today, I'm so bad at people skills when I got a call to set up a job interview, I weirded the lady out so much that she trailed off when talking about emailing me a time. This took 2 minutes to achieve. A new record. I still haven't got an email. FML
Today, my phone cut out during a call for a job interview. I tried calling them back, but there was no answer. Later, I got an email from the interviewer, saying I was no longer being considered for the position due to my being "rude and unprofessional." FML

Is your name on Skype professional? If it's not, that could be why they didn't accept it.

Not if she waited for over half an hour. Assuming the guy got on 45 minutes late for the interview and (while clearly lacking some intellect) was wondering as to why our sad OP here isn't online, at this point, would she even want the job? I wouldn't want to work for someone who doesn't understand punctuality or basic commuter knowledge (Skype isn't rocket science).

Sound like you didn't get the job. Sorry. I don't like Skype/video interviews for some reason they make me more nervous then being there with the interviewer.

I don't like Skype interviews either. I've only ever been the interviewer over Skype and it still makes me more nervous than talking to someone in person.

Sounds like there will be a vacancy for that guy,s job soon. It's really unprofessional if he is doing interviews not to acept skype requests, especially as he emailed you, unless your skype name is something ridiculous like "xoxopartaygurl69xoxo". Hang in there and hope you get another crack at it soon.

Plot twist, it was supposed to be 11:00am his time which wasn't for 2.5 hours from when you stopped trying.
