Today, I realized that my father's weekly unemployment check is more than my bi-weekly pay check. My full time job pays less than my father's unemployment. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Libertarian nightmare
Today, when I checked on my last payroll, I realized that I pay more in taxes than I do in house bills. FML
Today, I realized that I spend more money on gas to go to my job than what I get paid. FML
Today, I found out that I was denied for work study eligibility by my college. I went to my financial advisor to ask why. It wasn't my grades or attendance. Apparently my father makes too much money for me to get a job at the school. My dad was fired 3 months ago and has been out of work since. FML
Today, my boss bragged to a coworker, in front of me, about how much money he saved on a project because he majorly underpays me. My boss is my dad. FML
Today, after years of waiting, my mom and I finally received a check from Child Support Services. Excited, I opened it up to find a check from my dad, written out for 45 cents. Which pays for maybe half a loaf of bread. FML
Ironic, isn't it?
Today, my father's company shut down his branch, leaving him without a job. This is followed by a letter from my school's financial aid office, saying I'm not getting a penny because my family's income level is too high. FML
Today, I get to stand in the unemployment line for the second time in a year because my company can't pay me. My parents own the company. FML
9 to 5, what a way to not make a living
Today, I excitedly went to check this week's paycheck, only to see that I only received $9.00. This isn't a mistake, this is really what I make. FML
Today, nearly Christmas, my dad got mad because I don't have enough money for holiday festivities. I can't afford things because I haven't gotten my paycheck yet. I work for my dad. FML
Seize the means
Today, I found out I'm getting a pay cut, a week after I told my boss I need a raise or second job just to afford bills. I made the company 10k last week. FML

that's a huge problem in countries like Germany and the US. I'm glad North Korea has solved it tho:)

160 - although gramatically incorect, I'm pretty sure he meant every two weeks instead of twice a week

Its not gramaticly incorrect, bi weekly means every two weeks.

164- Although I completely agree with you, my Grammar Naziness took over my hands, and I must kindly ask you to revise your comments, for you have misspelled both "grammatically" and "incorrect" while grammatically correcting someone. Irony... :) And to make up for my correcting you, I went ahead and thumbed your comment up.

sounds like your dad earned a lot more than you do before you got unemployed. Was it not his fault he got unemployed, then there's nothing wrong. If it was his fault, fyl :
