Today, I made a multiple choice exam so my friend could practice and get a good grade on his real exam. While I was helping him finish it, the teacher saw it, thought we were cheating and failed us both. FML

Today, I got my results on a recent, important midterm. During the exam, I'd noticed my instructor had accidentally left an answers page in the test packet, so being honest, I didn't look at them. It turns out she did it on purpose to help us pass. I failed. FML
Today, during an exam, the guy next to me tried to cheat by looking at my test but was caught by the proctor. His defense was that no one would ever cheat off me. The proctor agreed and allowed him to finish the test. FML
Today, I was copying an assignment from my friend and was feeling confident that I was gonna pass. I later found out I copied his name too, so the teacher failed us both. He won't talk to me now. FML
Today, I found out I've miserably failed a college exam. My friend had agreed to pass me answers if I needed them, since I've hardly studied this year. We were on the phone when she said, "Oh, those answers were bullshit. Serves you right, huh?" FML
Today, I got my precalculus final back from my teacher. I got a 17%. I told her that there had to be some mistake, because my classmate had the same answers as me and she got 100%. Not only did I accidentally admit to cheating, but our test papers had different questions. FML
Today, my teacher called a friend and me out of class and told us we had been reported for plagiarism because our answers to a problem were nearly identical, and he said that I shouldn't have shared my work. This for an assignment where significant marks were awarded for collaborating with peers. FML
Today, while I was taking a test in class, there was a question that had everyone stumped. After what seemed like forever, the teacher finally noticed and said he'd typed the question wrong. I spent more than half the time I had to complete the test on a question that wasn't even written correctly. Yes, I failed. FML
Today, I cheated on my math exam. I still failed. FML
Today, I took my Spanish test, and I felt very confident. I got the test back later, and saw my teacher had written on it: "Congrats on the 94%, but I know you cheated." FML
Today, while taking a test in my online class, my sister unexpectedly showed up. She panicked when she realized what I was doing, as the class has a strict rule of being 100% alone during tests. I assured her that because she wasn't helping me to cheat, it would be fine. Turns out it wasn't fine, as I got a zero. FML

That's not okay. If your teacher won't listen, then go talk to your principal, or any one else higher up. Unless your test is exactly the same as the teacher's, you didn't do anything wrong. It's not uncommon for teachers to make practice tests available anyway to help students study. If your teacher writes tests in advance, all they need to do is read through your practice test to know that you steal it to help your friend cheat.

Just a question from a foreigner : why does everyone assume the teacher is female? Did I miss something?

An interesting question. In America (which is where I suppose most respondents are from), grade-school teaching is a typically female profession, as is nursing. Most jobs that involve lots of close human contact, and especially work with children, tend to be stereotyped as female. Supposedly, they're honored jobs, but when it comes to salary we can see how much honor is worth, and it doesn't buy a cup of coffee.

You absolutely did the right thing helping your friend. Apparently your teacher is a bit paranoid. You can talk this through with school principal or other authorities and I hope they'd reverse the decision. Don't worry. It'll be alright. You haven't done anything wrong.
