Today, I realised just how caffeine dependent I am. I didn't have time for my morning coffee, work is out of milk, and I only have $1.30 in my bank account, so I couldn't buy a coffee. Today has been a struggle. FML
Today, I'm so broke that I had to call in sick to work because I couldn't afford to pay my bus fare. FML
Today, I was so broke, I couldn't come up with enough change to pay the parking meter at my job. FML
Today, I found $20 on the ground. I'm so broke, this is the first time in 3 months that I've had any disposable income. FML
Today, for breakfast, I made a butter sandwich. I'm that broke. FML
Today, I was so broke that I paid for a $0.28 candy bar with my credit card. FML
Today, I'm running so fucking low on money, I have to go to the supermarket to eat free bites of ham, cheese and whatever they have on their aisles for breakfast. FML
Today, after already having a terrible day, I went to Starbucks for an espresso. Being nice, I put the last dollar I had in my wallet in their tip jar. While paying for my drink, my card was denied for insufficient funds. The world hates me. FML
Today, I had to empty out my coin jar to pay for gas. Trying to be considerate, I only brought quarters, but the cashier refused to take it because they didn't want to count out my $10. I don't know how I'll get to work today. FML
Today, I was hungry and I was trying to buy the cheapest burger at Wendy's, but I'm so broke that I had to call my friends to lend me some money. Ugh. FML

Perhaps if you didn't buy so many cups of coffee, you could afford your own $10 coffee machine and coffee beans. That way you can make your own coffee for a few pennies a cup, and I guarantee you it's 100x better than that swill they sell at Starbucks.

A coffee? Shit. I say give up caffeine and go for a burger off a fast food dollar menu. You'll be sleepy, but at least you won't be hungry anymore.

You can buy the ingredients to make an assload of cups of coffee yourself for what it costs to buy one coffee at a coffee shop.

I hate how some people are assuming OP doesn't have a job. I have a full time job and sometimes it can be hard just to make it through the week. I understand OP's pain.
