Today, I introduced my girlfriend to my family for the first time. My mother's immediate reaction was, "We didn't know you were gay!" No mom, she really is a girl. FML

That's awful, but we've all made those mistakes before. Usually I avoid making anything other than conservative talk about someone until I really get to know them.

I feel like the mother probably knew and was just messing with her son. Or maybe she was getting him back for something. I've seen some manly looking women before, but i could still tell they were women.
