Today, I had to wait thirty minutes after closing to check out a lady who was purchasing 20 different styles of curtains. I asked what she would be doing with them all, and she replied that she would be bringing 19 of them back tomorrow, as she didn't know which would match. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
It's not what you think
Today, I was shopping with a friend. We snuck into the same fitting room so we could give our opinions on each other's clothes. The suspicious saleswoman knocked on the door and asked how many people were in our room. I quickly answered, "It's OK. She's just watching." FML
Nice try
Today, I was ringing up a lady’s items; two shoeboxes. Per policy, I’m supposed to open them. She heavily insisted I didn’t. I ignored her and found other merchandise inside. She then went on a rant on how "people should mind their own fucking business" and stormed out of the store without buying. FML
Late start
Today, I was planning on meeting my friend at the mall. She came late, and I was in the dressing room trying on a few things. When I came out to meet her, she looked at me oddly and said, "You shouldn't buy that, it looks terrible on you." Those were the clothes I came in. FML
Today, I had to help train a new employee at the register. It got busy so I had to take my eyes off her for a few minutes. At that time she managed to let someone walk out with $150 worth of fabric. I couldn't catch the customer. FML
Help…
Today, I needed to buy Vagisil. I went to the grocery store so I could use the self check-out. My item rung up incorrectly, so a girl came to help. She was new and having trouble, so she called more people to help. I ended up having five people around me talking about my Vagisil purchase. FML
Today, my usual 15 minute return trip from the fabric store took almost an hour and a half due to traffic. Once I finally got home, I realized I misunderstood the pattern I'm using and only bought half the fabric I needed. FML
This is why we shop online!
Today, while checking out at Target, I had the choice of standing behind one lady or a long line. Naturally, I chose the former. Half an hour later, the long line had completely passed, and I was still standing behind the lady, who was now arguing with the cashier. FML
Silver linings
Today, I went shopping for a new pair of jeans. I was feeling good about the fact that I was going down a waist size until the cashier decided to discuss with me, three co-workers, and the ten other people in line how she didn't even know jeans came in sizes that big. FML
Thanks, I hate it
Today, at work, a customer went to try on a pair of pants. A few minutes later, she hurriedly returned and put the pants back on the shelf without saying anything. I later found out she'd come down with a bout of diarrhea and apparently didn't want to pay for the dry-cleaning. Glamorous. FML
Today, while shopping, a lady came up to me and asked if she could borrow my baby because, "Y'know, I'm in a hurry and they'll let me checkout first." FML

Well she curtainly has a sense of style.

That's a whole lot of extra work to find a good pair of curtains, like you could easily narrow it down. "Yeah, I don't think the flying sex snakes fit the mood in this room, I'll buy the other 18 curtains."

Or the lady could have just brought a picture of where she wanted the curtains and held it up to each one to see if it matches the area.

Or simply refuse the next day for refunding purchases that were "change of mind". Customer is returning them because she changed her mind, not because there's anything wrong with them.

Consideration seems to be lost on a lot of people. I hope you're not working tomorrow!

I wonder if she's trying to get her curtains to match her drapes. More seriously, suggest she bring a color palette of the room she intends to hang them in, to spare her the hassle of taking them all home, taking them out, checking them, repackaging the ones that don't match, and bringing them back. Easier on her and you.

Curtains are drapes. You mean curtains to match her carpet.

As well, if she is that inconsiderate, she will not repackage them, at least not in a way that wouldn't make the sales clerk have to repackage them.

Surely she could have narrowed it down a bit further!? Some people are so self entitled these days
